Went here for lunch today with two of my friends the pizza was great.We had the Pleasure of meeting the owner of this establishment which made our dining experience even that much better.We will return again and again .Parking: Ample enough parking

We have been to this Pizza express many many times. It has always been soo good, and fresh. Today we were not impressed. My salad was old looking and the vegetables on the salad were old. I always order the breadsticks and they come with this amazing Parmesan cheese topping. today they were plain, and just not the same. when I asked the lady who brought out our food if they still put the parmesan topping on she said umm no? We were very disappointed today. probably won't be back for a while.

For a pizza place in Virginia they are comparable to NY style pizza and I'm a NY Yankee pizza snob. Love their lunch slices and now grab a stromboli at least twice a month which are delicious. Next I'll try their ribs. Fantastic food and friendly service.

Came in for lunch and had the best experience! The pizza was great, but what really made the visit awesome was Kim and her beaming personality. I watched as she warmly greeted EVERY single person who walked in the door with the most genuine smile! She made friendly conversation with everyone, myself included. She has some of the best customer service I have seen in a while! It is hard to find someone so personable while at work anymore, and I can tell she loves what she does! We will definitely be going back to visit her and eat some great food! Thanks so much!!

Me and my friends went here today before the opening night of our schools musical and the workers were so kind we danced watched the television and one of the workers Kim jones just made all of us laugh she was amazing!! we all took pictures together definitely come here it’s a amazing ?

Anyone who decides to change your order to what they want is a dangerous person.. If you don't have what a customer has ordered and paid for then the restaurant should call and ask what substitute would you like... Instead of making a choice for you and replacing it with a food that you have a severe allergy to and could very well kill you without an EpiPen on hand!! Screams lawsuit to me, so why be so careless to do so.. Adding insult to injury you suggest a credit next time... There won't be a next time sir. You get no extra chance to harm my life at your choosing!

It saddens me that I have to write a negative review. I frequently patronize this establishment despite the errors. I can no longer accept the mediocrity from the staff, more especially from management. My last order was once again incorrect; but what was really surprising was that the manager recognized HIS error. Do you know this man offered a 10% discount on the next meal? Let’s forget the fact that the order was wrong, but there was an item that would make me and others sick in my household. The meal could not be consumed, so I am very disappointed at the decision of the manager. Integrity does not exist at this establishment; therefore, I will no longer spend my money here. A small business owner should definitely do right by their customers. I understand inflation is rough on small businesses but if you mess up a customer’s order and it is verified, then you should do the honest thing by replacing their meal.Very low integrity, management. I can assure if you keep this up, you will go out of business.

This is the best New York style pizza in VA. I have been looking for the best slice … and I found it. Please check them out. Crust is perfect, sauce actually taste good, cheese is perfectly cheesy on pizza slices. This is a perfect pizza. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My husband and I came in last night from picking up a dresser. The woman working was very warm, hospitable, and full of joy that kept a smile on my face all night. The pizza was amazing and the cheesecake was as well.

I absolutely love pizza express and anytime I see a pizza express restaurant, I can’t help but go in. So when my friend and I went to get piercings nearby in Chester, we thought we’d stop in for some pizza. What a mistake! This is the worst pizza express I have ever visited. The staff were inattentive and left us waiting around for ages before coming to take our order, despite us being the only people inside. This should’ve been my first red flag, the fact it was empty at dinner time in a city. The chef/server’s baby was in a pram just besides the kitchen! This should’ve been another red flag and I suspect this might’ve been why the service was so slow. Having a baby unattended is definitely inappropriate in a restaurant. When the food finally arrived, it was disgusting. It was so greasy! Will not be returning to this pizza express. Such a shame as I’m in Chester so often

I normally do not leave reviews but had to leave one to warn people about the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you value customer over taste I suggest you stay clear of this place because if you have an issue with your order they could care less.We ordered a pizza on the Slice app with instructions to make half the pizza with mushrooms and half with sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was being shared by 2 people one who did not eat meat and the other who did not eat mushrooms. The pizza arrived with sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms on the whole pizza and it had to be thrown away. I contacted Slice as the middle man and they contacted the store. Slice then informed me that they spoke to the owner Doug who was unwilling to issue a refund for the pizza or even suggest a replacement. Doug then contacted me saying that somehow the instructions did not get to the back where they prepare the orders and he is sorry and will give me 10% off the next order but contact him directly. He refused to refund the pizza and said he will not refund a whole pizza, mind you we spent 60 something on the order and the pizza was roughly $24. He said if you don't like it thats too bad I'm not refunding the pizza. We have ordered from this place many times especially for large gatherings and love the pizza and wings but will not be ordering from here again due to the EXTREMELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Our family is definitely a small business supporter but customer service is everything and if a business has bad customer service they should consider a business that doesn't deal directly with customers.
