Super friendly servers. the food did not impress me but it wasn't bad either. I have only been there once. I like to try restaurants multiple times in case they have an off night.

So I love this place. Started coming here in October last year and it has become my new favorite mexican food spot. I recommend many people/ family to it. Welp today was really disappointing. Caritas were hard like jerky, fish tacos had a foul smell to them. Nobody wanted to eat them because they were sure they were rotten. I bite it, but I surprised it tasted slight sour and like nothing at all. No seasoning, no flavor other than slightly sour fish. I closed it up and prayed for my bowels later. I was also missing 2 tacos from the order. I called told them everything, they offered credit but I want a refund for missing items and credit for the other two tacos orders that weren't edible. I asked to talk to manager however I don't think she understood what I said. She just said yes, yes but no refund yet. ? I have never had such a terrible experience with them and I even asked if they have a new cook? She said yes, but again I am not sure she understood. I write this in hopes it gets to the guy manager who is usually there and super nice. Quality fell down the drain today. I am having to throw away 80% of the order, which is crazy to not even get a refund for stuff I didn't even get.Update- Spent 30mins in the bathroom. Probably spending the rest of the night there. Everyone told not to take that bite but nope, I had to try them. Yes, I lowered the stars and a little pissed at this point. ?

We (party of 6)stopped by here to grab lunch after our Pocahontas State Park hike. They have a large selection of lunch dishes which are reasonably priced. The food tasted great and the service was wonderful.
O MY GOD this was the best food ever we loved seasonings of the food you have to come try everything they have a fan for

My favorite Mexican spot in the Chesterfield Courthouse area. Plates are full of generous servings. I've enjoyed the lunch Chori-Pollo several times and had the Carne Mexicana for dinner - see photo. The charro beans are outstanding, with many tasty ingredients. I haven't tried any bar drinks, as my visits are close to work hours.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. This is something that has been lost in a lot of the chain restaurants. Loved that the staff enjoyed celebrating my b-day with me.
Lots of choices to pick from. My food hit the spot. Think I may try some Tortilla soup next time.

Until my last visit to Mi Jalisco, which is only about five minutes from my house, it was my favorite Mexican restaurant. On that last visit, the food was so bland as to be almost tasteless. Everything looked good, but tasted blah. So, I set out to find another place and found Ay Caramba.Although Ay Caramba is about 15-20 minutes from my house, the drive may prove to be worth it. I say "may" because I'm not yet convinced that it is the Mexican restaurant I've been looking for.I love pork tamales and they have them. Unfortunately, there's way more breading than there is pork in those tamales. I had the 3 for $8.99 and that's a good price. Food prices have gotten unreal in most of the restaurants we continue to support and it was a delight to leave the Ay Caramba after paying less than $18.00 for two! Granted, we drank water but we got a lot of food for that price. But, I ramble.Back to the tamales - good but bready ( I know, not a word, but it seems appropriate). The sauce was excellent and the cheese was mellow. Next time, I'll have one tamale with a burrito or enchilada. My wife had a beef taco and chicken enchilada which came with refried beans and rice. She seemed to like it. The service was excellent and the ambiance was what you would expect in a suburban Mexican restaurant. They have a relatively large number of choices on the menuSo, I'll give them a few more tries before I declare them my new favorite Mexican restaurant, but based on this one trip, they are in the running.

My husband and I stopped in at Ay Caramba in Chester after an event. We ordered chips, table side guacamole, and drinks. All were quite good (yes, free chips with salsa and white sauce). I had the La Caravena (sp?) which was a coconut flavored margarita with Tajin on the glass. Ordered another to go. That good. Husband had the special top shelf one which he also enjoyed. They make their margaritas in house, no mix. Our server, Aileen, was the sweetest. Great staff overall. Everyone was warm and friendly. Told Aileen I'll be back for the same drink next week. I plan on making good with a whole meal this time. It's really clean too!

This place has awesome food. The people are very nice and they take care of you quickly. We've gone there several times to eat in and take out and the food was just fabulous each time with adequate portions. There is always music playing to help get into the right mood for their food. I walked in one day and some of my friends I work with were there already. I thought I had found a hidden gem but so hasn't many others. Keep up the good work.
