This was my second time visiting first watch but first time at the chesterfield location. The food at both Midlothian and chesterfield locations were amazing. The staff was very welcoming and professional and my specific server KeKe was amazing. KeKe assisted me with choosing my meal as she was very well versed on the menu. Thank you KeKe for your amazing service and thank you First watch for your business and what the do on a daily basis ?

Our server was pretty terrible. Messed up our order a few times. Then messed up the person next to us. That said, once we got our food, it was pretty good. Their black coffee is honestly amazing. The process for payment could be handled way better. Why make customers go to a kiosk if you’re doing everything else at the table? It makes zero sense. And the person who helped us at the kiosk was so rude. It was like we were inconveniencing her for trying to pay for our meal.

I was seated on arrival. Waited 10 minutes and nobody came to ask about my drink, my order or even say hello. This is the worst place for service that I have been to in a long time. Not Recommended.

Decent food, really nice inside. This place serves mainly breakfast dishes. They have a small lunch menu with about 5 or 6 different sandwiches and some salads and soup. They serve breakfast until they close though (2:30pm). I had the club sandwich and it was very good. A tad pricey, but most places are now. My check for tea and a club sandwich (the side dish was just some greens with oil and vinegar lite dressing) was about $16. Service was fast, even during lunch hours (12:30pm). Recommended if you're looking for something different and new.

Went on a Sunday, which was probably a mistake. They were so crowded that we had a 45 minute wait. We decided to wait since we had heard that the food was amazing.Once we were seated and reviewed the menu, we understood why they received such high praise. All of the items are not only unique, but they are also comprised of healthy ingredients which together, sound delicious.I ordered a standard eggs & bacon with a carrot cake pancake. My husband ordered an omelet with a banana pancake. The egg dishes were cooked perfectly. My bacon wasn't quite as "well-done" as I requested, but it wasn't worth sending back to the kitchen when they were almost filled to capacity. Plus, the bacon did have good flavor, so it was OK. The pancakes were different altogether.First, the carrot cake pancake: The only things this pancake had in common with carrot cake, were the carrot shreds, raisins and small nut pieces. It was bland in flavor and very dry. Putting syrup on it helped a little, but overall, it wasn't great. However....the banana pancake was really good. It had a lot of banana pieces and was just right in sweetness....not too much and not too little. The flavor was so good that it didn't need syrup, and that's perfect in my world.Overall, our first First Watch experience was good, and I'm sure we'll go back to try another unique dish.
