I waited too long to try this restaurant! The food is amazing! It tastes like my grandmother and mom’s cooking. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tostones were crisp and hot. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. A perfect five star restaurant! And everyone was super friendly!

I ordered pick up from Salsa Chicken and found the service and atmosphere to more than adequate.
I ordered a full chicken with the salad and fries. I forgot to check the bag and got the plantains instead of fries but whatever.
However I am more disappointed with the chicken and sauce. I saw a review on here about the lack of seasoning and I have to agree it was bland. I didn’t see any chicken on the roisterer when I walked in which makes me believe that I got one cooked from this morning which would explain the dryness. And the lack of seasoning and tastiness is definitely a problem.
But the sauce is the biggest failure. It lacks tang and desire for me to dip my chicken and fingers in the sauce. The yellow is meh at best and the red/pink sauce is overly sweet which someone pointed out is probably ketchup and mayo which makes it overly sweet. Probably fine for my two year old but misses the punch I require. I probably won’t be ordering from here again.

I gave this restaurant 3 tries and each one was the same. The food looks good on the plate and they give a nice portion size but the food is very bland. Everything taste like it's been boiled without any salt, pepper, etc.. There are NO authentic flavors in the food at all. Not going back anymore. I wasted money again and they are expensive. When I told the owner the food was bland she laughed. I told her she needed to taste it. She laughed all the way to the kitchen and started talking in her native language to someone in the back. I never see them really busy. I don't know how they stay in business.
Oh and the service was ok. Had to wait 25 minutes for the bland food.

Pretty good chicken. Liked the charcoaled chicken. The sides were a hit and misst. Rice was extremely dry, but the beans and salad were tasty. The place wasn't overly busy, and when I went to find a table, I found that the first few were dirty and not wiped down. I did find a nice clean table. You order at the counter, and then they bring your food out to you. The staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and something different in the area. It's worth the time to check out. They had daily specials, so make sure to check that out.

The chicken from this place is the best chicken I have ever tasted !! It's very juicy and the food here is always fresh, especially the rice and chicken. I also love the tres leche they sell. I would 100% recommend this place if you're looking for freshly made food with very good flavor !

The rotisserie chicken was extremely dry and missing taste. The rice was old. Worst chicken I’ve ever tried, it was more of a dry boiled chicken

Hands down… fantastic and super convenient. The entrees are so big, two people can easily eat out of it and take some home. Great service, unparalleled prices. The food is Mexican, Colombian, Peruvian. Many fantastic choices.

The food was just OK, but not particularly flavorful as I expected. For the price, go somewhere else. I paid over $40 for one order of fried rice and 2 orders of empanadas.

I was in the mood to try something new, so I ordered the small bites plate that comes with a variety of things, including 2 types of sausage, pork chunks (mostly fat), steak, chicken, small potatoes, fried plantains (4), and about 6 slices of tomatoes with a couple of sauces. There was plenty of meat and grease. I really only cared for the steak, which is usually last on my list. I would have preferred more of the non meat items as those were all delicious. My husband got half chicken with Yucca and fried plantains. He said that the dark meat was juicy and the white meat was dry. He also enjoyed the sides - so next time we're probably going to do more sides and less of the main meats. If you like to get a lot of meat with your orders, this is definitely the place. They provide generous portions in that arena. We'll be back, but we're getting different options next time.
