I visited the area for a work trip recently and our hosts brought us here for dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice.

Pizza and salad was great, but calamari was super rubbery. Overcooked.

Servers were friendly and helpful in accommodating our large group. Food was delicious, and portions were of decent size. Beautiful views off the golf course, and well decorated, but nothing really unique about the atmosphere

Dietary restrictions: Super accommodating with information and modifications

Delicious. Had the ginger soy salmon sweet potatoes and green beans. My son has the Tuscano chicken and my daughter a burger. We shared our food with each other and every item was delicious. Total bill with tip..$110ish.

Everything I have ever eaten there in 6 years has been great. The best pasta, chicken, pizza, salads, literally everything has been delicious.

EDIT: You may have seen this review earlier this week. Let me explain…

I was furious when I learned about the events of STRIKE 3 below and I wrote a review. A little later I get a phone call from the organizer of the event who asked me to take it down because the owner of the Reserve had called and demanded it be removed because it was detrimental to her business. I agreed to take the review down and repost after the event with edits for anything that occurred up until the event was over just in case they made it right. So below is my edited version.

STRIKE 1: First time going here I waited 50 minutes just to get a bourbon and ginger, and they forgot my food so the entire table was finished eating before I even got my plate.

STRIKE 2: Second time was for my grandmother’s 85th birthday dinner and we reserved the private room only to arrive for them to tell us they had double booked the room and the other party was larger so they moved us to the normal dining area and service was about as terrible as my first experience.

STRIKE 3: The last straw was for my other grandmother’s 80th birthday and once again we booked the private room only to be told the Monday before the event that we did not book the room. We’ve also been told that they accidentally booked us at their other restaurant (Riptides in Chester) but they’re actually not sure about that either because Riptides was closed at the moment so we were left in limbo and had 25+ people coming and a photographer scheduled for a family portrait because that’s the only gift my grandmother requested, but thanks to the incompetence of the staff we had to move the party to a family member’s house.

I said it after strike 2, but my family decided against me and tried the Reserve again, but I ASSURE YOU they will never get another dime from me or my immediate family now. Do I think that will affect their bottom line? No not at all, but if you’re reading reviews then I feel like you should know of our troubles here. Most importantly I hope it drives the management and staff to pull their heads out of their own you know what and eliminate future problems like this. I’d like to think these are just unfortunate mishaps but 3 bad experiences in about a 2 year span kinda sounds like a pattern to me. I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll spend money with Riptides again since they share an owner. I likely will give them another shot eventually because the food is pretty good, but the Reserve is completely out of the question and they could write a textbook on “what not to do” as it pertains to customer service.

Extra tid bits: I wasn’t sure exactly where to insert these fun little notes so that everything flowed so I’ll add them here. Along with the phone call demanding the review be taken down, the owner also told the organizer of our event that she was wrong and she reserved the wrong room. Could that be possible? Yes, but we were also told the same lady makes reservations at both restaurants so which is more likely to have made the mix up? We asked to speak to that lady again and were told she wasn’t available to speak with us. Let’s add to that, we also received quotes for food that, of their two restaurants, only the Reserve sells. So if we asked for a room at one restaurant and food from another, that didn’t set off any alarms that maybe something wasn’t right and you should tell us? Or did your staff make a simple mistake and now you’re refusing to own it? Oh by the way, our deposit for the room that we didn’t even get hasn’t been refunded either. I don’t know that the organizer of our event has even asked for a refund or cares at this point, but wouldn’t you think if you were a somewhat respectable business owner of two reputable businesses and some customers were having a dilemma that you may or may not have directly caused that you would at bare minimum refund the deposit and/or offer some kind of alternative or help or useful options but nope they sure didn’t.

Pizza was not done and doughy in the middle. Did not get orders right.had to wait forever for our drinks then wait again for the oder to be taken. No consistency whatsoever. Charged for an extra drink. Not to worry it all came off the tip. Not interested in a return visit.

Worst meal I’ve ever had, everything was undercooked and tasteless; however, the waitress was extremely nice and accommodating.
