New place, same building/location. Was recommended by a stranger during a conversation. Order seafood platter and food terrible and expensive

The restaurant was highly recommended. I had the Salmon dinner entre. Its was good, but not great. The value to quality was just a bit above average. The wait staff were top-notch - attentive when needed. The view was limited ... felt sort-of closed-in, a bit on the dark side wrt lighting. Bigger windows would help, and brighter lighting would be nice.

Waited over an hour for dinner to be served, table next to us came in a half hour later and had apps, drinks and dinner severed before us ..... food was ok, service was slow ...... disappointed......

It was opening night and the experience was amazing. Our server was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I even got a heart shaped potatoe ?

View great, fish so-so, other food very uneven — bottled salad dressing salad!, yikes. It seemed very very expensive to me for the quality. However staff were friendly and it was a pleasant evening.

Overpriced, ok food. Went for my wife’s birthday. She had the scallops which were decent but cost $40 for six scallops. I had the Mahi which was dry and not much flavor. Worst part was feeling rushed as they were in a hurry to close early apparently. Ambience was nice. Felt like it should have been a better experience than it was. Will not return.

Happily we got there just a few days before Etta's closed for the season. Not sure what else would have been opened in town, but doubt there is any place that can compete. With an old-fashioned charm, this sweet little place offers a delightful respite. Diners are polite and speak in subdued tones allowing all to enjoy the pretty channel view in peace. Even at night and in the dark, the lights along the water calm your sprits. The food, modestly portioned and priced, is quite tasty. The menu is not extensive but it is inventive. My appetizer of dates wrapped in bacon was truly a treat. Entrees were also pleasing and my husband greatly enjoyed the home made brown pecan cake for dessert. Best of all , our waitress , Helen, was very knowlegeable about ingredients, food science and food allergies. Her pleasant and attentive manner made for a memorable meal, assuring our return next year. Not fine dining, but I am betting the best choice in the area.

Stopped in on a Monday night, the restaurant has a great location. I am sure in the summer it would be heaving, however on a Monday night in late October it was quiet (good for us) We both tried fish dishes, they were both pleasant. Service was friendly.

This is the restaurant to choose if you want an upscale meal on the island. The staff was very friendly and had our food out with perfect timing. Our dinners were both delicious. The crab cakes and grilled mahi were excellent. The restaurant is located a short distance from Main Street, and is on the channel. This location provides a lovely view while dining. For a special dinner that won't disappoint, be sure to enjoy a meal at Etta's.

The restaurant is quaint and right on the water, with lots of windows to enjoy the view. The food was good & we especially enjoyed the bacon-wrapped dates and bacon-wrapped scallops. We happened to arrive shortly before a major storm came through, which knocked out the power. Wait staff was very attentive, lighting candles, providing bread, water, and other drinks throughout the approximately 30 - 40 minutes the power was out. Kudos to the managers, wait and kitchen staff for handling the situation so well.

Off the beaten path overlooking Assateague, you will find this unassuming place that serves very tasty food. We were pleasantly surprised. And it had to be good if locals go there! The lobster bisque was delish but wished it was hotter. The cold lump crab with drawn butter was perfect. And the steamed shrimp was seasoned just right! Highly recommend!

We had a frustrating and unpleasant experience at Etta's. The initial items we requested were unavailable. The clams were inedible. The coconut shrimp was clearly from a frozen box and not good at all. The Caesar salad was made with brown lettuce. We did not receive one item and were charged for items that we did not request, and when I pointed this out, the server said that we did request them... I didn't argue with her, but paid the bill for a dinner we did not eat, and items we did not even order. I reached out to the restaurant to try to let them know, but to no avail.
