“I visit island creamery every time I go to Chincoteague island! They were voted the best ice cream shop in America in 2023 and it's well deserved! They have so many flavors to choose from, anyone (even with dietary restrictions) could easily find something to get! My go to is typically the Oreo flavor. All of their ice cream is homemade and it shows. There are always chunks of Oreos and the ice cream is SO creamy, no ice crystals like you get in your ice cream at some places. My last visit I tried the snickers cheesecake flavor. If you like snickers, you'll love this flavor! There's always a line, even during off season occasionally, but they're so efficient you'll never have to wait in line more than a few minutes. There's parking directly out front of the shop, but that gets full pretty quickly. They have a separate parking area directly across the street and more parking behind the shop. This place is a must visit! Definitely worth the stop if you're anywhere close to Chincoteague.”

“Great Brunches. Fun staff. The flight of Mimosas was a treat. Although the dinner menu is not as good as it was last year. It reminded me of the food from 5 years ago. Most things were prepared with cream sauce, butter sauce, or fried. I miss the fresh lighter meals.”

“For those saying your wait is long, this is not a McDonald’s. You get actual delicious food that is fresh. The owner is cool as hell, talks to everyone. She acts like she cares, genuinely interacts and makes sure you’re happy. Don’t be afraid to approach her. Cheesesteak and fries are top shelf, you get a good amount of food too. Wife loved the burger. This is an embodiment of island I grew up loving to come to, just a homey place. This is not New York City, SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY IT”

“Enjoyed a fabulously incomparable crab cake sandwich with house made Old Bay Chips, hush puppies, and potato salad accompanied by terrific orange crush for lunch on Sunday afternoon! Crab cake was full of meat! Best meal we have had on the island! And service was genuinely friendly and quick! Is now a definite go to when in Chincoteague! Thank you, Capt. Zack's Seafood! “Delicious fresh foods with fine drinks and wine with the best spectacular sunset in Chincoteague Island.So we went straight two nights for dinner. “We recently spend the weekend of 4/20/23 to 4/25/23 in Chincoteague for our wedding anniversary. We ordered a take out salad and tuna sub on Saturday evening to take back to the hotel. Their food was amazing and felt like comfort food. Very fresh and highly recommend if you want something other than seafood! We are returning in a few months and will definately order again.”

“Standard McDonald's,drive thru always buzy. Just don't understand why lobby is closed during each visit to this location. We enjoying stopping here grabbing food and relaxing before the park. It'd be helpful to be able to use restrooms especially since we have a handicapped person traveling with us during this trip. Food is adequate.”

“Came by here after a day at the beach and got me some tacos! Was not disappointed.I couldn't convince my family to get tacos (they grabbed food from Island Dawg next door, but both areas allow you to bring food from one and each at the other's tables, just make sure you clean up and return trays to the right place), so I had to be strategic. I got three different types so I could get a feel for all the flavors.The folks in the stand speak both English and Spanish, and they took my order in Spanish. They got the food out to me pretty quickly.I got the Barbacoa, the Carnitas, and the Cajun Shrimp. I really can't pick a favorite; they were all so good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, plump and tender. The barbacoa and carnitas were solid and I don't think they could be any better.There are some vegetarian options, so there's something for everyone!Next time I'm back, I look forward to trying more of the menu!”

“Stopped here for a quick lunch before a boat tour. Husband got the ribs, I got the pulled chicken sandwich with slaw, kids got the mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! Fast and friendly service too.”

“Really, really good coffee. I got an iced vanilla latte and my mom got Vietnamese black coffee, you can tell they use very high quality ingredients. This is a small business and has excellent customer service! They accommodated my last second request to alter my order. Coffee was also done very fast. They have a drive through and plenty of parking. They have pastries as well. Very fair pricing as well.”

“The food here is amazing! I go to Ocean Deli regularly. The pizzas (all of them) never disappoint. The cheesesteak subs are some of the best I've ever eaten. Everything is hot, fresh and delicious. There is hardly any wait time at this extremely busy deli. Highly recommend!”

“I adore this place. I was delighted to see that this was open off season. I had the Phat Philly (without peppers) and it was so yummy. My sister had the Honey I’m Ham equally delicious. Of course I had to have the strawberry lemonade. The chef/ owner was so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend!!Parking: About 6 spaces by the food truck. I have yet to be there during peak season when you can’t find parking.Kid-friendliness: There is a Having a Meltdown picture hole by the truck for kids.”

“We arrived around 5 on a Thursday and waited 30 min or so, as promised, for a table. They attract a crowd and know how to move people through. The seafood is reasonably priced and seems fresh. The fried food was heavy on the oil and the broiled didn't look interesting enough, but it was an interesting place to eat. The hush puppies are to die for, don't want to forget them!!”

“Hoooyah ...Hello my people I'm at another great restaurant named WOLFFS pronounced wolf's...we have a good time me and the gang. The food was good the atmosphere was friendly and the cleanliness was spot on .. I favored the brunswick stew ...it had meat in every bite . The browie cheesecake wass soo rich and googy it was to die for . And the tea was smooth and relaxing .This restaurant is worth the drive and the fly.. WEIGHT OFF WHEELS!!!! nice job guys. “A food stand that sells specialty hot dogs and fancy tater tots. For what it is, the food's not bad! My kids opted for some of the kids' meals, which meant simple hot dog with plain tots and the other got chicken tenders with plain tots. Hard to beat. My wife got the Jamaican hot dog with jerk sauce and seared pineapple. I had a bite; it was okay. Having said that, the Jerk Chicken tots that we also ordered were really good - nice jerk seasoning flavor and the chicken didn't overpower the tots but was a nice accompaniment. We also tried the bacon and cheese tots, which is a classic flavor combination, but nothing to really write home about. There's picnic tables where you can wait for your food or dine there. The guy who took our order said my kids could each have a whelk shell (they had a whole bucket of them) and it's the little things, but my kids loved them. The food got out to us in a timely fashion. Depending on the time of day, you might have shade or be in full sun. Watch your food, the seagulls are ready to steal some tots!”

“We had a medium cheese pizza and an order of crsb-poppers. The pizza cheese and sauce were pretty good, but the pizza crust was pretty generic. I don't think it was hand tossed dough.We enjoyed the crab-poppers. They weren't too spicy, and the crab meat was flavourful and tasty. And the soda fountain had a good selection, too.”

“Delicious food - seriously so good no time to talk until food is gone or until you are so stuffed you can't take another bite - yes the food is that good- welcoming atmosphere - beautiful view - awesome owner who has awesome staff working for her & oh the drinks! “Blackfin is incredible. The food is freshly prepared and very unique. They have an amazing breakfast menu fill with everything from Eggs Benedict four different ways to their own creations like the Blackfin stack. Their lunch menu has the best tacos, flatbread creations including a smoked salmon flatbread to fried oyster baskets made with the freshest Chincoteague salt oysters. Their dinners are where they really show how creative they are with their original tapas menu, burgers, flatbread and main courses of the week. This restaurant has been a hit since the day they opened their doors and it keeps getting better and better. Love them.”

“Sadly I don't have much to say. Went here to listen to a new band, and it was packed inside. Great for them, it was a holiday weekend. Stood there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us and give us suggestions on what we could do and no one spoke to us. We left and went elsewhere where everything was amazing. I really wanted to write a positive review, but I have nothing.”

“Happy to meet new owner Carly who shared her use of the very tasty Buffalo Mozzarella. She is planning additions to menu in spring. Pizzas are delicious and flavorful. I like the old crust thinner and more crunchy vs this new chewier crust. Best of luck!”
