“Food here is always good. Only suggestion would be to thoroughly drain the salad lettuce--mine was so wet that it had started to turn color. There was approximately 2 tsp of water in the bottom of my small side salad container. Everything else was perfect!”
“Rocket Club is a nice place to gather with friends. You never know if you'll be drinking beside a rocket engineer, a firefightern or a waste water operator. The drinks are very reasonably priced and they have a nice little bar food menu. The bar tenders are nice. Play pool, shoot darts. Come out and have some rocking good fun!”
“The aroma when you walk in the door at island creamery should be a Yankee candle, this is my all time favorite ice cream place. They make the waffle cones in house with their own waffle batter, it's amazing. Soft but crunchy and such good flavor. I love the cake batter ice cream, but they have so many flavors to choose from!”
“Excellent food. I can recommend the pulled pork the pulled chicken, the brisket, the white lasagna soup and the stuffed pepper soup which is my favorite.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor dining and kid friendly”
“Absolutely adorable coffee shop. We make a habit of stopping here every time we visit. During the summer there’s a bit of a wait but it’s definitely worth it.”
“Oh. My. Gosh. The he pulled pork on a brioche bun is phenomenal!! All I can say is *chefs kiss*!!! If you like BBQ you HAVE to stop by!!! Everyone is incredible friendly as well!!”
“Food truck that offers a variety of choices from appetizers to share: crab Rangoon, lumpia, soft shell crab bites, squid stick, to name a few. They offer quite a selection of poke bowls where you pick your base of salad or brown rice or white rice, then your protein: shrimp, chicken, pork, tofu, jackfruit (vegan) then the bowl with a variety of toppings like carrots. Radish, peanuts, cilantro, seaweed salad etc etc etc AND more add-ins like quail eggs, seaweed salad, etc. They also offer fruit bowls with base of: pitaya or coconut or açaí and then the different ingredients like pineapple, mango and blueberries which they call “gold coast” and there’s another one with Nutella mix-ins. On this very day and moment (Sunday at 5pm) they ran out of the fruit bowls!!Service was friendly with a smile. Around their food truck is a good size gravel parking lot and benches with umbrellas. Highly recommended by this foodie, will be a reason to go back to Chincoteague to try their fruit bowls!”
“I adore this place. I was delighted to see that this was open off season. I had the Phat Philly (without peppers) and it was so yummy. My sister had the Honey I’m Ham equally delicious. Of course I had to have the strawberry lemonade. The chef/ owner was so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend!!Parking: About 6 spaces by the food truck. I have yet to be there during peak season when you can’t find parking.Kid-friendliness: There is a Having a Meltdown picture hole by the truck for kids.”
“We went there in the 2nd week of Nov in 2023. Considering it is off-season, they were quite a few people dining although they were not crowded. We ordered a blackened fish platter, the shrimp basket, a pizza, and some hushpuppies for the four of us. A lot of food came, relatively quickly after we ordered, and the food was so tasty. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. Will gladly go back there when we visit the area again.”
“I have been going to Mister Whippys since I was a kid it never disappoints I'm 37 Now with a child of my own and she has the love for mister whippys as I do we all love u and ur staff are so welcoming I'm going to try lil whippys very soon”
“Visited here today for the first time & certainly not our last. My partner said his burger was the best he’s had in years…the four cheese grilled sandwich was excellent with Parmesan dipping sauce accompanied by the incredible Granny Smith Apple coke slaw. Service, dining room both wonderful. Highly recommend to ESVA residents or visitors.”
“Hoooyah ...Hello my people I'm at another great restaurant named WOLFFS pronounced wolf's...we have a good time me and the gang. All people are welcome here . SO PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR SMALL BUSINESSES Hoooyah 4.7 on the local critics scale !!!!”
“This is THE best chicken on the eastern shore and maybe quite possibly the best fried chicken I've ever had! Crispy perfect crust, juicy tender chicken, and seasoned just right. Simple perfection!!!”
“We had appetizers and drinks. The calamari was probably the best tasting I’ve ever ate. The shrimp with tomatoes was absolutely delicious.First time having a grapefruit crush, okay I’m hooked.”
“Ordered take out from inside the restaurant. Customer service was excellent and preparation was quick. The food is delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on ground level.”
“Delicious tacos, papusas, and tamales with plenty of flavorful, spicy salsa. Plus while you wait for your food, you can shop a grocery store with great candy, ice cream, fruit, and dessert/bread.”
“The view from Harbor’s End is incredible. That will be your first impression. Once you step inside, your second impression will be how charming the restaurant is with their decor. You will feel an immediate sense of comfort. If they have a window seat, grab one. In the summer there are picnic tables set up outside. The clam chowder is some of the best I have ever had. It is their own award winning recipe. They smoke all their own meats there, and it is full of flavor. Since they are right on the water, they are known for their seafood dishes. Don't forget desert, it is a must and so good. Overall I truly enjoyed my visit to Harbor’s End and look forward to returning again.”
“After a day of exploring Chincoteague this place provided a delicious surf and turf dinner. We had the filet mignon, lobster tail, crab imperial, and bacon wrapped scallops. The seafood and meat were perfectly cooked. The seasoning on the lobster tail was strong for our taste but that's just personal preference. We like more delicate seasoning typically.Happy to have found this spot during our first time in Chincoteague.”
“A food stand that sells specialty hot dogs and fancy tater tots. For what it is, the food's not bad! My kids opted for some of the kids' meals, which meant simple hot dog with plain tots and the other got chicken tenders with plain tots. Hard to beat. My wife got the Jamaican hot dog with jerk sauce and seared pineapple. I had a bite; it was okay. Having said that, the Jerk Chicken tots that we also ordered were really good - nice jerk seasoning flavor and the chicken didn't overpower the tots but was a nice accompaniment. We also tried the bacon and cheese tots, which is a classic flavor combination, but nothing to really write home about. There's picnic tables where you can wait for your food or dine there. The guy who took our order said my kids could each have a whelk shell (they had a whole bucket of them) and it's the little things, but my kids loved them. The food got out to us in a timely fashion. Depending on the time of day, you might have shade or be in full sun. Watch your food, the seagulls are ready to steal some tots!”
“For those saying your wait is long, this is not a McDonald’s. You get actual delicious food that is fresh. The owner is cool as hell, talks to everyone. She acts like she cares, genuinely interacts and makes sure you’re happy. Don’t be afraid to approach her. Cheesesteak and fries are top shelf, you get a good amount of food too. Wife loved the burger. This is an embodiment of island I grew up loving to come to, just a homey place. This is not New York City, SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY IT”
“Love this place. Service is always friendly and the food is great. Only thing i could suggest is i wish the bulkhead was in better shape. We always come by boat and it's not the easiest place to tie up to.”
“YOU DON'T GET FISH FRESHER THAN THIS,RIGHT OFF THE BOAT. GREAT PRICES.Red, his son Andy, everyone are pleasant and helpful. As Andy was getting my fish he informed me CRABBING season starts MARCH 17, Bushels 1/2 bushels, whatever you need.”
“Sign in parking lot does not look very professional and does not really explain what the place is so I Google searched and it looked pretty good. Parking is sufficient. Fairly easy to determine where to enter. Music was a little loud. Trying to order was very confusing. There area a ton of choices but no headings for anything so I didn't know what I was looking at. A heading for the shakes would have been good . There are then a ton of choices. Probably more than needed. There are no descriptions so if it's not explicit in the name, not sure what's in it. I purchased a "tea". From what I saw online, I knew they had them, but couldn't figure out which sign listed the options as again no title and didn't seem well organized. They had some seasonal ones which was nice, however again no descriptions so I had no idea what I what anything was. There were two younger kids in there-I'm guessing the owner's kids- who were trying to help, unfortunately they didn't know what was in the drinks either. There was a hand written list for them to reference, but they were struggling so I borrowed it and read them myself. Some of the words were in Spanish, but fortunately I've had a few years of education on that so I frequently knew what I was reading. The drink is good, but the 4 star instead of 5 is really in relation to the atmosphere and some things they need to work on to get the place more functional for patrons.Parking: Plenty of off street parking spaces.”
“The food here is good and it's fast. And they always accommodate our special request like no onions in the fried rice or the Gen tso not spicy. Good food decent price with fast service.”
“Sadly I don't have much to say. Went here to listen to a new band, and it was packed inside. Great for them, it was a holiday weekend. Stood there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us and give us suggestions on what we could do and no one spoke to us. We left and went elsewhere where everything was amazing. I really wanted to write a positive review, but I have nothing.”
“Our family spent the day with our baseball team at the park and enjoyed some beverages at Keko's bar. The staff was very attentive and quick to serve us. I mistakenly left my card at the bar and Neilly over delivered by mailing my card back to me on her day off. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I highly recommend the drinks, atmosphere, and most definitely the people/staff at Keko's and Maui Jack's.”
“Absolutely love this place. Great food. Friendly. Clean. Open all year.Vegetarian options: Tofu or they will hold meat, chicken, seafood.Parking: plenty of spotsWheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessible”
“Greeted with a smile. Roadside stand with drive thru only provided prompt service. The mermaid foam was the perfect way to top off my beverage.Dietary restrictions: Had a variety of dairy free options.”
