“5 stars and then some- the food is absolutely delicious and this is one of the few places I feel safe eating on the island. I have a severe shellfish allergy- including having issues with cross contamination. Better is able to accommodate for my allergy and is always quick to answer any questions I have about which foods are safe for me, packs my meal separately from any shellfish, etc. I highly recommend trying them- you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“We have been to Ray's many times over the years & it has always been a nice experience. Tonight was the WORST service we have ever had. On top of that, the stuffed shrimp was overcooked & only 4 shrimp for $35. For the amount of $ spent, it was highly disappointing all-around.”

We were traveling to Virginia Beach when we saw the sign for El Crucero y Taquería and decided to stop — and we’re so glad we did! The food is absolutely delicious, with a homemade flavor you can truly taste. The tacos have a unique and authentic flavor, just like something you’d get at home. If you enjoy real, home-style Mexican food, this place is a must-try. We’d definitely come back. A hidden gem!”

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.”

“Our family spent the day with our baseball team at the park and enjoyed some beverages at Keko's bar. The staff was very attentive and quick to serve us. I mistakenly left my card at the bar and Neilly over delivered by mailing my card back to me on her day off. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I highly recommend the drinks, atmosphere, and most definitely the people/staff at Keko's and Maui Jack's.”

“This restaurant had the cleanest dining room of any (American) Chinese restaurant I've been to, which was a shocker because I cannot think of a single business establishment off of rt 13 that actually looks appetizing from the road. The food was freshly cooked. The crab rangoons were crispy and sweet and the dumplings were delicious. If you're craving some classic Chinese and you're near Oak Hall, this is the place to go.”

“A local Chincoteague favorite. Excellent specials - usually non-seafood American classics like fried chicken, prime rib, and beef dumplings at an unbeatable price and quality. Classic-style buffalo wings, daily vegetable rotation, and excellent fries. Plentiful dining hall seating, great for parties 1-14. Bar seating with full food service as well. Standard menu has plentiful seafood options. Tip: large parking lot behind the building. You can go next door to Island Creamery after your meal for fantastic ice cream.”

“12/25/25 We were in town for vacation, and it was open on Christmas day. We got Tofu Vegetables, General Tso Tofu, and Veg Lo Mein, as well as the Sweet Potato Sushi! They seem to understand what vegan is, and everything tasted vegan. Definitely not healthy food but certainly yummy! In a town with limited options, I recommend this restaurant!”
