“Came by here after a day at the beach and got me some tacos! Was not disappointed.I couldn't convince my family to get tacos (they grabbed food from Island Dawg next door, but both areas allow you to bring food from one and each at the other's tables, just make sure you clean up and return trays to the right place), so I had to be strategic. I got three different types so I could get a feel for all the flavors.The folks in the stand speak both English and Spanish, and they took my order in Spanish. They got the food out to me pretty quickly.I got the Barbacoa, the Carnitas, and the Cajun Shrimp. I really can't pick a favorite; they were all so good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, plump and tender. The barbacoa and carnitas were solid and I don't think they could be any better.There are some vegetarian options, so there's something for everyone!Next time I'm back, I look forward to trying more of the menu!”

“Stopped here for a quick lunch before a boat tour. Husband got the ribs, I got the pulled chicken sandwich with slaw, kids got the mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! Fast and friendly service too.”

“I adore this place. I was delighted to see that this was open off season. I had the Phat Philly (without peppers) and it was so yummy. My sister had the Honey I’m Ham equally delicious. Of course I had to have the strawberry lemonade. The chef/ owner was so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend!!Parking: About 6 spaces by the food truck. I have yet to be there during peak season when you can’t find parking.Kid-friendliness: There is a Having a Meltdown picture hole by the truck for kids.”

“THE BEST experience at a restaurant in a very long while! Our server Mark was on top of everything. I had shrimp and grits, which was amazing, and others in my group had equally delicious entrées. The salads were served on chilled plates, a touch that really shows true commitment to a very enjoyable dining experience. I will definitely be back next time I'm down this way!”

“A food stand that sells specialty hot dogs and fancy tater tots. For what it is, the food's not bad! My kids opted for some of the kids' meals, which meant simple hot dog with plain tots and the other got chicken tenders with plain tots. Hard to beat. My wife got the Jamaican hot dog with jerk sauce and seared pineapple. I had a bite; it was okay. Having said that, the Jerk Chicken tots that we also ordered were really good - nice jerk seasoning flavor and the chicken didn't overpower the tots but was a nice accompaniment. We also tried the bacon and cheese tots, which is a classic flavor combination, but nothing to really write home about. There's picnic tables where you can wait for your food or dine there. The guy who took our order said my kids could each have a whelk shell (they had a whole bucket of them) and it's the little things, but my kids loved them. The food got out to us in a timely fashion. Depending on the time of day, you might have shade or be in full sun. Watch your food, the seagulls are ready to steal some tots!”

“Blackfin is incredible. The food is freshly prepared and very unique. They have an amazing breakfast menu fill with everything from Eggs Benedict four different ways to their own creations like the Blackfin stack. Their lunch menu has the best tacos, flatbread creations including a smoked salmon flatbread to fried oyster baskets made with the freshest Chincoteague salt oysters. Their dinners are where they really show how creative they are with their original tapas menu, burgers, flatbread and main courses of the week. This restaurant has been a hit since the day they opened their doors and it keeps getting better and better. Love them.”

“Love this place. Service is always friendly and the food is great. Only thing i could suggest is i wish the bulkhead was in better shape. We always come by boat and it's not the easiest place to tie up to.”

“Happy to meet new owner Carly who shared her use of the very tasty Buffalo Mozzarella. She is planning additions to menu in spring. Pizzas are delicious and flavorful. I like the old crust thinner and more crunchy vs this new chewier crust. Best of luck!”

“It was one of few restaurants that were open during off-season, and it was packed. They played live music on 2nd floor and the helpers were very kind.I ordered seafood steamed platter, quantity wise it was big! A cluster of stone crab, a cluster of snow crab, about a half dozen of clams, oysters, half pound shrimps, and two side! Quality-wise, I liked it! It wasn't the best seafood, but very good seafood.Also when we get there, there was certain dishes on sale (50%!), it made the steamed seafood platter really good deals.”

“Simple, no frills family dining establishment with super friendly staff. A tad on the expensive side in terms of portions but I didn’t leave hungry. Ordered the stuffed tomatoes with seafood and it was very good. Sides chosen were a baked potato and slaw that was too sweet for my liking so I didn’t eat it. Came to $36 with tip for 1 person, no drinks or dessert. I would dine there again but not for a special occasion or anything.”

“We stopped in here for some sandwiches to take back to our hotel. Note that the 'small' size is like a 12" sub so order accordingly. We got two 'small' subs and two sides and half of everything got saved for another meal. We selected the potato salad and the macaroni salad. Our subs were the Italian Cold Cut and the American Cold Cut. This shop has a nice selection of soft drinks and juice, adult beverages (beer and wine) as well as snacks and some items you may have forgotten to bring on vacation like bug spray. They also sell VA lottery tickets and have a few gas pumps.”
