“We always plan a day to order from famous when we are on the island. The owners are very friendly and it’s no wonder why they have been in business for so long. We love their food!”

“I had the fried scallop dinner with French Fries and Apple Sauce. These were the best tasting scallops I've had in 40 yrs. And it was a very big portion. Awesome job steamers the food and service were excellent. And you truly deserve this post.”
“Stopped by and got a quarter pounder with sauerkraut and ketchup and mustard and also nachos and chili cheese and crispy onions. Taste amazing. The owner was extremely friendly and funny! I would definitely recommend and go back every time I'm here.”

“We ate downstairs at Don's and really enjoyed the food. The decor is nice, old fisherman stuff and oyster packing cans, nets and decoys. Pretty and comfortable”
“I ordered the chili cheese dog....it was the best hot dog I've ever had! The roll was more like an artisan roll and didn't get soggy with all the toppings and the dog itself was large, plump and juicy. The side of tots was crispy and generously covered with toppings. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. 100% recommend them! I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast”

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.”
“Our family spent the day with our baseball team at the park and enjoyed some beverages at Keko's bar. The staff was very attentive and quick to serve us. I mistakenly left my card at the bar and Neilly over delivered by mailing my card back to me on her day off. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I highly recommend the drinks, atmosphere, and most definitely the people/staff at Keko's and Maui Jack's.”

“The Village is hands down the best restaurant on the Island (been coming for multiple vacations every summer for years) . The food and atmosphere can't be beat. The specials are always amazing in addition to a stellar selection on the menu and when you have a party of 8 ranging in age from 11-75+ and all 8 of us leave happy and can't wait to go back....something is to be said for that. 5 stars and beyond! Go check it out! Best to have reservations during the season”

“I've never eaten at a better Chinese restaurant in my life!!! The food was fresh and you could tell the oil they used to deep fry my battered chicken chunks in was sooo fresh! Not old and stale, like most other restaurants. The staff was super friendly, even though it was close to closing time and the tables were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend Asian Express in Chincoteague Island va.”

“We’ve been here two days now and ate at Drift twice. Superb sandwiches and great selection of wine and snacks. I had the roasted chicken sandwich on excellent gluten free bread (twice). My husband had the Rachel, while eating it, he said “wow!” 6 times. He really, really loved it! We both loved it and will return several more times while we are visiting. So happy to have a cafe offer good gluten free and high quality ingredients for sandwiches.”

“My husband and I frequent the island often for the day and for the week during pony penning. We always come to Amarin for breakfast, they have the most amazing pastries/teas/coffees! No one compares! Keep being amazing!”

“I'm unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine, and don't care for extremely spicy foods, and with that knowledge the owner suggested Pho, which was quite delicious. What a friendly introduction to a new favorite taste!”

“Good food in the middle of the tourist area. Good breakfast. There is a breakfast buffet with a lot of selections. But I prefer to order off the menu. Full breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, & coffee was $12 before tip on a Wed. Service was good. Not as fancy as Bill’s but a good low cost alternative. I eat breakfast there whenever I am in town and they are open (seasonal).”

“Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious when we visited in August. great proportions, fresh and so yummy. The homemade sauces are amazing. Wanted to try the brisket but they were sold out so I had pulled pork and it was on point. We'll definitely be back!”
