Good, steady quality food. The ownership and service staff are top notch!

UPDATE: this has become my 'go-to' restaurant on Chincoteague. Can't say enough about the staff, superb! The stuffed soft shell crab are spectacular. Highly recommend!

Still layed up in bed. Dr thinks food poisoning. Don't order the fried seafood meal.

We dined last night for a 60th birthday celebration. Raw and steamed oysters along with bacon wrapped scallops for our apps were outstanding. Myself and one other in our group ordered fried food for our entrée. It was fair at best, the seafood combo, over 40 bucks. Almost immediately after finishing the oil reacted with my body as did the other in our group. I think perhaps the oil was old or there was something spoiled in it. The other 3 ordered the stuffed rockfish special. The stuffing was amazing butnthe fish itself was bland.
The wait staff was exemplary, we were taken good care of. The place itself is bide, very clean and accommodating. Our bill was $472 before tip which for 5 adults isn't bad. Will I come back? I'd say absolutely. However I won't order fried food again. Its 3:43am and my stomach is still in knots, too uncomfortable to sleep.

Not great especially when it comes to serving size for price. Seriously, there are better places, food and locations. I wasn't impressed and spent a small fortune. Folks deserve better!

Took my family here. We were promptly seated and treated with smiles. The restaurant was nice with some great views. The tables are far apart from each other and didn't feel crowded at all.
My wife and I love the bowl of cream of crab soup. The table loved the Calamari, great light breading and perfectly fried. Good size portion too. My wife and I enjoyed the broiled seafood platter. My grandson loved the fried clams. Of site free parking, but can be tight or overflowing.

Had reservations for 6:00 pm. Showed up about 10 minutes prior. When I made the reservations, I asked for a table next to a window. We had to wait while they cleaned a table for us. They put us in a very small room with familys that had small children. We could not hear anything it was so loud. The table was not next to a window. Wife ordered broiled stuff flounder and I ordered the fried. Both of our salads had very little deressing on them and nothing spectacular. The flounder arrived and there was very little crab stuffing on either one. We have eaten here many times before when we visited. We were very disaponted. We will not go back. I gave a good tip due to the waitress being very good.

The cream of crab soup was delicious. The Seafood Delight was very good but not a very large portion. The Lima beans were mushy and did not appear to be fresh. The biggest disappointment was the stuffed soft shell crabs. They were described as fried soft shell crabs stuffed with a crab cake. The crabs themselves were nice size and tasty however they were not stuffed with a crab cake. The soft shell was stuffed with a very small amount of crab imperial. Very nice service but overall a bit disappointing especially with the up-charge for using a debit card which I didn’t think was at all allowed. Also the dirty dishes were put into bins right next to tables which made it very noisy when they dropped the dishes in the bin

We have always eaten here over the many years we have been visiting the island. Dinner last night was wonderful! We sat on their new covered deck overlooking the marsh, which was really nice! We both ordered the special stuffed rockfish with crab imperial, shrimp & scallops. Fabulous! We also ordered the delicious oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. Service was excellent! We truly enjoyed our dining experience!!!

Awesome little spot, sat on the back deck and really enjoyed the vibes. Oysters on the half shell were delicious and super fresh. Onion rings were great as well.

Our visit was an absolute highlight to our weekend down to celebrate our little boy’s 7th birthday. The food was hands down some of the best we’ve had in quite a while.

Our meals were the prime rib, mahi, and calamari and none could have been made to be any better.

Lou (hope I have her name spelled correctly) was our server and she was a complete breath of fresh air. So many folks in the industry have lost that certain flair that makes dining out a treat like it once was. She’s a real gem and hope to see her again! We had only mentioned it in passing that it was our boy’s birthday and lo and behold she brought him a slice of Mississippi Mud with a candle and everyone sang to him. If they only knew how happy he was and surprised and that he only suspected that he was the only person this had ever happened to.

Anyhow, please make the Village a part of your dinner plans if you can. And Lou, just know you touched the heart of a child in a very meaningful way.
