We have always eaten here over the many years we have been visiting the island. Dinner last night was wonderful! We sat on their new covered deck overlooking the marsh, which was really nice! We both ordered the special stuffed rockfish with crab imperial, shrimp & scallops. Fabulous! We also ordered the delicious oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. Service was excellent! We truly enjoyed our dining experience!!!

Awesome little spot, sat on the back deck and really enjoyed the vibes. Oysters on the half shell were delicious and super fresh. Onion rings were great as well.

Our visit was an absolute highlight to our weekend down to celebrate our little boy’s 7th birthday. The food was hands down some of the best we’ve had in quite a while.
Our meals were the prime rib, mahi, and calamari and none could have been made to be any better.
Lou (hope I have her name spelled correctly) was our server and she was a complete breath of fresh air. So many folks in the industry have lost that certain flair that makes dining out a treat like it once was. She’s a real gem and hope to see her again! We had only mentioned it in passing that it was our boy’s birthday and lo and behold she brought him a slice of Mississippi Mud with a candle and everyone sang to him. If they only knew how happy he was and surprised and that he only suspected that he was the only person this had ever happened to.
Anyhow, please make the Village a part of your dinner plans if you can. And Lou, just know you touched the heart of a child in a very meaningful way.

This place is amazing! Every time we come to chincoteague that is our first dinner stop. I love their food and atmosphere. They also have very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this place.

If you want a great restaurant that’s got the family feel this is your spot. The wait staff is always phenomenal, caring, and attentive. The bar seating is small and intimate with the sweetest bar tenders in the world!! The dressing is homemade and ceaser is my favorite. Food is great!! Grab toasties are a favorite and the soft shell crab! Just love love love here!!!

The place is very noisy with a lot of activity. For sure not a place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was sub standard and not worth the price. Service was poor, but given that they add a mandatory gratuity I can see why the servers do not care. Over all it was not the worst experience I have had at a restaurant, but for sure not a place I would want to visit again.

My family has been going here for years and I’ve always said it’s my favorite place to eat on the island but recently they must have changed their standards for some of their dishes. I ordered the chicken parm and in the past it has always been a real piece of chicken. Last night it was two fried chicken patties. For the price they charge I would expect it to be a regular piece of chicken breast not store bought patties that were deep fried. Pasta sauce was also from a jar. Otherwise the staff is nice and the restaurant is clean

Don't waste your time or money! Probably one of the worst experiences in Chincoteague. Appetizers took 46 minutes to get to the table after ordering. Main meals arrived cold and dried out (like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while). Most people would attribute this to a busy restaurant, but tables around us with a different server got their food quickly and their server actually checked on them. If you choose to go here, make sure you sit in anybody BUT Johnny's section.

We try to visit The Village each time we are on island. The food and service are always great! Tonight, on the Eve of the 100th pony swim, the restaurant was slammed, but service and the meal was still incredible. Shout out to Marchello for amazing service, the hostesses for managing the crowd with grace, and the kitchen for a fantastic meal.
