This is one of our large family's go-to places on Chincoteague, along with Captain Zach's, a totally different (local seafood) menu. CI offers so much great food. This is the best BBQ spot you could ask for. Pulled pork and ribs with AMAZING sauce (never tasted one quite like it), chicken, and smashburgers if that's your thing. Well what can I say this use to be the spot but now they have lost their touch. They use to give napkins because the signature sandwich was juicy and saucy now its dry and they charge alot for extra sauce. They only put 1 onion ring on the signature sandwich which used to be huge now I wouldn't even spend the money. Just because it looks like a vibe the food is not. Order a large mac and cheese and it wasn't even fresh tasted and looked like they put it in the container...
I got the chicken sandwich and oh my god it is so good. My partner got the signature pulled pork and he loved it! I really loved the atmosphere as well! The applesauce was amazing as well. We both shared it and it was enough for two. I’ve never had an apple sauce like it before. Definitely a good spot to try on the island
