5 stars and then some- the food is absolutely delicious and this is one of the few places I feel safe eating on the island. I have a severe shellfish allergy- including having issues with cross contamination. Better is able to accommodate for my allergy and is always quick to answer any questions I have about which foods are safe for me, packs my meal separately from any shellfish, etc. I highly recommend trying them- you won’t be disappointed!!!

Shrimp Roll …. Just like a Lobster Roll filled with seasoned fresh shrimp & tucked into that bun… yes, THAT BUN!!!!! Delish!!!

The food at 'Better' was excellent! The quality and flavor were impressive. Here's pic of the chicken, turkey and burger. Loved every bite! Generous portions and friendly service. Table area and parking lot was large enough to fit lots of people.

The Turkish market salad was absolutely delicious. They also had a Mediterranean veggie flatbread on the menu (which changes based on seasonal availability) the day we visited. A very welcome change from impossible burgers and garden salads offered at some other local places.

So good we stopped for lunch two days in a row. The shrimp salad sandwich was fresh and delicious. The toasted roll was the right amount of crunch and chew. It was dressed on the side with greens and a very nice lemon/oregano vinaigrette. The clam chowder (white) was the best I've had with lots of clams. My wife ordered the crab cake sandwich which ordinarily is served fried. She asked if they could broil it, which they had never tried. It turned out, in her words, perfect. Thank you Chef for our delicious lunches and to the staff who worked our requests.

As I told the people in the truck before I left, that was hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life... Bacon and Swiss Fried Chicken sandwich... I wouldn't change a thing about it. Perfectly toasted bun, the fried chicken as crispy as it is juicy, seasoned perfectly, and the sauce is the proverbial cherry on top... I need a bottle of it. 😭
