We had such a lovely experience last night. From Mark playing piano to great service from Zeibe (sp?) and a great prix fixe menu, it was our best dining experience on the island. Highly recommended

We happened to dine July 7th for a 5 course perfectly executed dinner to celebrate my husbands upcoming birthday that also was piano night with Marc Jay who plays tunes from his heart. Each course was memorable and carefully presented with superb service by Doug and Zebee. Chef Bill really put a menu together that will last in our memories and tastebuds too. We are repeat customers and a must to restaurant when ever in Chincoteague. Thanks again CBI for being there on the island and always there for special occasions and memories.

Family of four on Saturday July 5th. The service, atmosphere, food, ambiance... all excellent. The overall experience was outstanding. Highly recommend. Our meal price was $75 each, includes tax, so my bill was $300 (plus the bottle of wine we ordered, and also enjoyed very much). The price is reasonable for the experience. Multiple courses and a preset menu were a dining experience the kids had not experienced before. Also, I am sure the set menu rotates depending on availability of items and ingredients. However, we were able to pick our protein, such as fish vs beef or chicken, and also select a side, rice vs potato. Just enough modification so that everyone could enjoy what they preferred. The soup, salad, appetizer and dessert were set items. The salad was crazy good. The only item to take home was some dessert, and only because one in my party does not like cheesecake, and the rest of us were simply too full.

This was our second time visiting - our first was very good, but this year, not so much. The appetizers and dessert were great, but the tenderloin was not actually a tenderloin. I'm not sure what cut of meat it was, but it was not tender. Also, the fish did not taste particularly fresh. On both visits I found the chairs uncomfortable. I know this sounds like a minor complaint, but when you reapolster a chair you need to put support in the middle so you don't feel like you are sinking in. I will give it another try, and I hope this was a fluke because it's a nice setting with great possibilities.

Best dining experience in Chincoteague Island. Very good value and excellent service. Each year since the new owners took over it has improved.

A warm and inviting space with lovely touches. Victorian era china and nice linens elevated the experience. The dishes were well prepared and plentiful. In the kitchen made accommodations for special food issues.

The entire meal was delicious. The standouts were the fish entrees and the basque cheesecake. Service was attentive and timely. If you are staying in Chincoteague, I would highly recommend this to the usual fare.

We stayed at this adorable/quaint/pet-friendly inn for Memorial Day weekend with our two pups. Each meal we had during our stay was delicious (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner) and served in multiple courses on beautiful china. It was a very high end/culinary experience and all the servers were lovely. I especially loved the different soup courses. Yum! If you're a foodie, I highly recommend.

Could improve on directions for parking. Building looks a bit shabby but the garden was delightful. The menu choices were EXCEPTIONAL as was the service. Lovely china...but common looking salt & pepper shakers, should have been better! Dead flowers in table vase. Unacceptable! Very reasonable price for this level of dining!

We really enjoyed our evening here celebrating my mom's 88th birthday. The staff took very good care of us. They also sat us at a quieter table when requested because the wonderful piano music that was playing during their special Monday piano dinner was a little loud for my mom. The piano player played Happy Birthday when dessert came out - so sweet! The multi-course meal was very creative, nicely plated and delicious! The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection. My only regret was that the portions were so HUGE so I couldn't finish every bite of the courses! would definitely return, especially for a special occasion.

This review is for restaurant only. The food was delicious, especially the sea bass. Great portion sizes for the $75 menu and friendly staff.
