I think the word that comes to mind with Buddy's is.. consistency.. Good food, good pricing, good variety, good/kind people.. this place is consistently good.. While I am not a picky eater, I won't frequent a place if the experience/food isn't desirable... Having read the negative/less than desirable views.. they're laughable to say the least.. If you want a good eat at a fair price, you can't go wrong here, period.
We just discovered this place when searching for a cheesesteak and it was so good!! We had a cheesesteak and a shrimp po boy and they were both delicious! Service was great and food was phenomenal! Definitely a new spot to add to our rotation!
If you miss living near the ocean as I do, Buddy's fried oysters are a life preserver. I'd say they are the best food in all of Christiansburg, even when eaten cold. I always have a hot one dipped in remoulade right before I hurry back home with the rest.
