Had a great lunch today at 42 deli. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and lunch was delicious! I had the special Ham Delight sandwich with a side of gumbo (with the perfect amount of spice). The restaurant is clean, the food is great, and the staff is friendly, what more could anyone want?! I will be back!

Omg! Amazing!! I got the bacon cheeseburger...it came with chip, potato salad,and drink. I also got a Boston cream pie and one of their big chocolate chip cookies. All was awesome and all of this food was under $20. Of course I gave a tip. Check this place out. Awesomeness 😍

42Deli blew me away! I was passing through on day 3 of a 4-day bike packing trip and was looking for a place for lunch when I found 42Deli. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and the service, here was outstanding. I was hungry, wet and tired and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The food was great, and without me even asking, they wrapped up the other half of my sandwich—just super thoughtful and instinctive. The restaurant is located in a cute downtown area and was really clean, busy, and well-run. Congrats to a great restaurant and keep up the great job!

One of best heated turkey sandwiches I ever had. Somehow it was juicy with each bite and the bread was toasted perfectly to an amazing crunch sound accompany each bite. Just eating it made me happy, that I would be satisfied if this is the only thing I did coming from D.C this weekend.

I live in the Northeast and whenever I come home I must stop and get the Italian sub here. It is the best Italian sub I have ever eaten. Better than any I’ve had in Philly, New York, or Boston. I simply can’t find a better Italian sub anywhere and I have searched. Kudos to 42 Deli!!!!

We stopped for a takeout roast beef sub. Not only was the food amazing, the staff was super friendly. We got a big hello from several staff and felt extremely welcome. We wish we could have stayed and eaten there. The sub bread was just the right chewy/crunchy and the sandwich was juicy. We were even given delicious cookies on the house. Definitely worth going here for lunch.

Stopped on the way home for gas and found this deli. Best find for sure. This place was spotless the staff were so friendly and courteous. Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely recommend and hopefully return.
