The seafood platter consisted of a crab cake, shrimp, and scallops-all of which seemed to have been frozen for a lengthy period of time and was tasteless.
Food is always sublime- service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. prices quite reasonable. I give this place my highest recommendation.
Best dinner we had in Paris! This little local gem had amazing food, I would highly recommend the Camembert and escargot. The atmosphere was very romantic with low lighting and music, as well as an amazing hostess who made us feel more than welcome. Will be back next time we are in Parks
It was just perfect and the food was delicious
Always great service and amazing food. don't forget to make a reservation.
We were pleasantly surprised. A recommendation from a Hot Springs "local" so we drove down and were pleasantly surprised. Absolutely delicious food and fabulous service.
Always elegant Always delicious and tremendous service. Thanks Chef and crew!
2 weeks ago I moved from Atlanta, GA to Clifton Forge. The food at this establishment is easily on par with the fine dining experiences in Atlanta, and surpasses many. The food and drink pairing suggestions are magnificent, the balance of flavors was sublime. I am ecstatic to have found such an amazing restaurant unassumingly nestled in Clifton Forge. They have a great wine menu, a good beer menu, and a simply delectable dessert menu! Thank you so much for this taste of fine dining and service to match!
Our family came from Colorado, Maryland and North Carolina to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed with the wonderful setup for our reservation and the "out-of-this-world" scrumptious food for all of us. We had 3 young children in the party besides 6 adults. The food was perfect for all of us. Customer service was outstanding and the ambiance was just right for our occasion. It's a hidden gem in this part of Virginia. We highly recommend it. We will come back to Cafe Michel's often.
Delicious food, artfully presented and clearly freshly prepared. Seafood dishes are a real treat and challenging to find in the area. Highly recommend dishes including crab in particular. Makes a wonderful date night, takeout or otherwise.

We arrived not knowing that we should have had reservations. We were excited to hear that they did have a table available. The service was wonderful! The food flavors were exceptional! I had shrimp and lobster ravioli with an amazing spinach cream sauce and hubby had one of the nightly specials...a Mediterranean seafood pasta. The pastas were loaded with seafood and both sauces were fantastic! This was our 1st visit, but definitely not our last. Reservations are strongly suggested so you don't miss out!
This place is absolutely amazing! From the service, to the drinks, to the food! Lisa our server was an absolute sweetheart. My fiancé and I both looked at each other by the end of our dessert and said “this is probably one of the best restaurants we have ever been too!” And we eat out A LOT. I got the filet with a burgundy mushroom sauce (one of the best filets I have ever had) and my fiancé got the shrimp scampi(also some of the best scampi everr!!) It was all so delicious! I couldn’t say one wrong thing about this place!
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here! The food and service were both excellent. Just about everything is made in-house from high quality ingredients. Prices are very fair. Don't forget to leave room for dessert, there are crepes and creme brullee (and more)!
Wow! A jewel of a find!Everything was remarkable. Too stuffed to take on desert but I can't imagine it wouldn't also have been exceptional. The wine list was small but sufficient with enough coverage to handle any pairing. Very reasonable prices on the wines.
Most obnoxious people I have ever encountered. Showed up maskless. Rather than offer us masks (after we pointed out mask were no longer required) they stated “my restaurant, my rules.” Guess what? My money. My rules. We had a larger party this time. Last time we spent $400. Never again.
