We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Trummers. The craft cocktails were delicious. We both chose the Tuesday night special which was duck on the rotisserie. It was flavorful and moist; and was a generous portion. It was served with roasted potatoes. I would recommend adding a few seasonal vegetables to the dish to round it out. The wine prices are a tad high, but we chose an affordable one that paired well with the duck. We were full, so we skipped dessert. We can't...
We did Trummer's for Fairfax Restaurant Week brunch promotion - 3 course Brunch, $ 35 per person. We have been wanting to do Trummers for years, but its way too $ pricey for us. We had great seating on outdoor porch patio. Very attentive service. I had feared that since it was a promotion, that it would be a small plate event. The portions were very generous. I had deviled eggs, Belgian waffle, plum tart. My spouse had watermelon salad, egg/potato/bacon plate, lemon tart....
The 3-course meal was amazing. The portions were on the smaller side, but it was still fulfilling since it was three courses. It was a bit noisy—possibly because of where we were seated—and the area near with the outdoor seating seemed better. Overall, we had a great food experience!
