My overall experience was less than satisfactory. We had a party of 6 so seating was our first obstacle, our only option was a very wobbly picnic table and benches. Our server was very uniformed as to availability of beers and cocktails, returning multiple times to advise us our order was unavailable.Having lived in Germany I was looking forward to authentic jagerschnitzel, however it did not come close. The schnitzel was very small and not very tender, the mushrooms seemed to be from a can, not fresh, and the gravy was pretty non existent. When I asked our server about what dessert they had, she said she didn’t know what it was, just some kind of white cake with filling and almonds on top.Overall, the best was the chicken tenders and fries one of the kids ordered.I hope the food and service gets better and wish the restaurant well, but I can not see us giving them another try.

Went to get lunch with my mom 30 minutes after opening today, we asked the waitress if we seat ourselves and they said yes so we did. We waited thirty (30) minutes extra and not a soul brought us a menu or even spoke to us. During this time, several people came in and they were greeted instantly and brought menus and drinks. We ended up leaving with no food and no service. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

An honest review.... I got the Jagerschnitzel (which was a small portion in my opinion) with fried potatoes and tea to drink. My wife got the gyro with fries and water to drink. We both liked our food .... everything tasted great! The only issue I had was the fact that you only get one side item with the entree unless you spend a couple more dollars for an additional side item. In my opinion...that needs to be changed .....Two side items should be the standard...No?We both got dessert...my wife got the bee sting cake...I think it's called....good stuff! (We shared). I got the Black Forest cake...it was awesome except for one thing.....I bit into a cherry that had a pit in it.....dang ....that hurt ! No damage done so I didn't complain...could happen to anyone. We also paid $2.99 for the tea and $2.99 for the glass of water my wife had. Don't know if that was a mistake or if it's customary but didn't realize it until we got home and checked the receipt.....will I go back? Maybe when the portions are a bit more or another side item is added.....We paid 50+ dollars including the tip......i wish I would have taken photos to share but I didn't....... overall.......a good place to eat !

Waitress forgetful waited on drinks 15 minutes . ( they were NOT BUSY either). Food mediocre. Order pretzel appetizer it was never brought out. Go to pay and they wanted to charge me for the pretzel I never got! First time and last time eating here I could understand if they were busyEdited to reply to response from Oma HausIf the owner had been there and this is the performance of the restaurant and staff I see no need in talking to the owner. A crew is only as good as the leader. When I have to ask for my drinks after 15 minutes of them being ordered and have them delivered with no lemon! Then appetizer never served but I was gonna be charged for it anyway by the same waitress that waited our table but she was so forgetful or to busy cutting up with other staff to care ! 3 strikes during this meal and like I said they weren’t busy I can only imagine if more customers had been there utter chaos

Oma's House is a new German Restraunt. The hostess and owner were very nice and a lot of fun. The waitress was top-notch, and the cook knocked it out of the park. I ordered the Jeagerschnitzel with Spaetzel and Cucumber Salad. For dessert, I ordered the German Black Forest Cake. The food was wonderful and I can't wait to go back again. There is so much I could say in complemts. I hope the restrsunt is supported by the community. It is so nice to have a German Restraunt in the area.
