Ate here for the first time. If you're traveling through, or staying for the summer season, DEFINITELY hit this place up.If you're lucky, you'll get Melissa as a server. She's incredibly sweet and accommodating. As of writing this, the seafood buffet is $45 per person, and the salad buffet is $19.You can also get everything a la carte, if you'd rather. They have plenty of fried options, but if you want oysters (they don't serve them raw), you'll have to settle for fried or in a soup.Everything we had was good and fresh, so you can't go wrong! They have great pricing for kids too. Expect to pay between $20-$50 per adult, more if you're drinking.I have a 4 star on the atmosphere because the place could use a face lift, but otherwise can't complain :-)

Walked in on a Friday afternoon at 2:30. They gave us the option of either the lunch or dinner menu. The waitress was attentive and helpful. She offered to go drinks and left over container for our soup. Our main food was out fast and really good.Kid-friendliness: There is a children menu.

Hubby, kids and I were on a little excursion and stumbled upon this place, we immediately fell in love with the view. We ordered the crab dip......nothing to write home about even though you could clearly see lump crab meat, it was just ok. I ordered the crab cake which comes with 2 sides. Let's just say they used all the lump meat in the dip. It certainly didn't warrant the $18 and change. It was as flat as a pancake and an insult to seafood restaurants. Hunby got the crabcake blt it was all lumb crab meat....go figure. Onion rings had a weird taste, fries are ok, and broccoli was over cooked. This place offers a seafood buffet, salad bar which seemed popular and lunch specials. Lots of seating, fast service. Hush puppies are served when you are seated and those were tasty. What was served was more diner than seafood Restaurant quality.

They do not advertise deveined shrimp. My brother ate 4 shrimp from their restaurant and got salmonella. When I called asking why they don't advertise they said we just figured you knew. Which I did but my brother is not from a costal state. They also had very VERY unseasoned crab legs. They also automatically add a 20% gratuity to your bill. It is a hole in the wall that acts untouchable.

The food was actually very good. I had fried shrimp french fries which had a little bit of something else to them and their coleslaw was homemade which was awesome.

A shoutout to waitress Melissa who went above and beyond for our Aunt’s 83rd birthday celebration. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland there are a lot of restaurants to pick from I chose Wilkerson’s because I live in Virginia and love their seafood especially the crab cakes. Melissa was spot on getting everybody’s order and not upset when I told her I had to add some more to my list she just said no problem . No matter what I asked of her she didn’t hesitate to provide with a beautiful smile always. Coming back to the tables before you could ask for something she already had it as if she could read your mind . Melissa you truly made my Aunt’s birthday special , my family members texted me said on their way home about the waitress was so nice along with the food being good. I knew I picked the right restaurant to go to but little did I know there was a Jewel working there by the name of Melissa. I will spread the word about your restaurant and the service our family received.
