The food is really good here and it's right on the Potomac. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey but one can hardly wonder at it since everything is more expensive these days.
Dad grew up in Colonial Beach and Wilkersons is a must if we can fit it on the calendar. He always says he doesn't know what he is going to order and always gets the seafood platter..The lunch platter was a perfect portion. One of the workers that knew him from years ago came by the table and spoke to him. Feels a little piece of home. First time stopping in. First impression on walking in: super tidy and clean. Greeted graciously and escorted to a great view of the river even though I was eating by myself. Water promptly arrived.
