Best cookout I’ve frequented in a long time. Customer service is always great and food is always fresh. I don’t think they’ve ever got an order of mine wrong or even forgotten a straw. Doesn’t matter if I go at 2pm or 2am. Props to this team here.

So I’ve been going to this cookout a long time so listen up. People complain about the food but what do y’all expect with how cheap it is. Cheap food, cheap taste. But personally, I think it slaps for that price. Next let’s talk about the service. Straight up: it sucks. The workers always have attitudes without fail and act like they don’t wanna work. If yall don’t wanna at least act like y'all wanna talk to people, then maybe service industry isn’t the right job for y'all. One experience that put a bad taste in my mouth was how after paying in cash, the cashier lied about my change and didn’t give me the right amount. I asked for the recipe because I knew something was up, then she admitted that she “accidentally” gave me the wrong amount of change back. Pfft. But recently I have noticed the lines have been faster. They even started putting cones out to help organize the lines. Good job for that. This cookout gets a 3.5/5 stars

Caused food poisoning. Missed a day of work from throwing up. Beware. This happens just a week after they completely destroyed my order causing me to have to drive all the way back to get it fixed.

The service was horrible! The guy at the window over charged me didn't apologize & the manager was working beside him.dodnt correct it as if this was normal behavior. Horrible service workers should not be communicating with customers. I will NEVER visit the colonial heights cookout location again EVER!!!

Good food when they get the order right. It's about a 50/50 chance during the day that I order 4 cheese quesadillas with extra jalapeño cheese sauce and instead get 3 chicken quesadillas and white cheddar bites. Paying more for the wrong order is a bit annoying. At least it's still good.

The worst cookout around my area. Never the same staff and the food always leaves something to be desired. It's cheap, but cheap isn't always good. They always manage to forget part of my order and the drive thru is designed very oddly like it was an afterthought.
