Firehouse Subs Colonial Heights

Food was good but they forgot my soda and two out of three cookies I ordered. I called them and told me they do not give refunds and the delivery driver would need to bring them to me or I have to go through the hassle of their website. I called my Uber delivery driver and she stated she would get back to me and never heard anything back. I am a veteran and want to patronize this company but you sure made it difficult for me to continue to do so if this is the way you do business.

Hadn’t been to FHS in a few years. It is pricey and just not good. I got the smokehouse beef & cheddar brisket 11.99$ for a medium. Sadly, What they’re calling brisket looked more like thinly sliced fatty undercooked bacon. It was pretty empty during lunch rush hour, now I know why.

The place was clean but the food was awful. We had the steak and cheese and Pastrami sub. They tasted the same. The food was just non flavored. No fresh taste like it was microwaved and it gave us both heartburn the rest of the day. That is the second time I have been to a firehouse and it was the same. I will not be back.

These last 3 years every order I have placed has been missing items or made incorrectly. I only order when I have a strong craving for a club on a sub. The last time I ordered my bread wasn't toasted, my sandwich was missing bacon and pickles. I went back and was given cold bacon in a sack. Once I got home (28 miles) I bit into my sandwich to find it was also missing my condiments! I reached out to customer support and 2 days later I got a response to bring my sub back... I'm expected to hold on to food for 2 days!? Clearly this is their attempt to avoid accountability for any mistakes made. I am disgusted and after years of loyalty and the last 3 being filled with disappointment I won't spend another cent here. Jersey Mike's here I come!

First time getting subs from here. We walked in only ones there no one said hello or can we help you.

I ordered a gluten free and hubby ordered a regular.. I noticed they were making them hot. I advised I thought were cold I was rudley advised I needed to order it that way and she walked away.

I told them first time there didn't know that. Oh well is what i get!!!

Asked for a military discount Said they don't have that.

Will never again eat at firehouse subs again. So rude.. not once did. Anyone say hi or even good bye have a nice day nothing!!!!!!

40 min wait for a sub was ridiculous! 6/23/24 @ 2pm

I have been to this Firehouse subs 10 - 12 times. I have always got my military discount which is just a free drink. No big deal. When I went in this past week on April 28th 2024, I was told there was no military discount and never has been and when I told her that I have always gotten a military discount she told me I was wrong. Very rude about it so I was like whatever it was. No big deal. When we sat down the TV was so extremely loud that you could couldn't even talk to the person sitting across the table from you. Everyone in the restaurant was complaining. I got up and asked them to turn it down and at first she said no and then she said that they're not allowed to but she would make an exception again. Very rude about it. When I got my food I asked for honey mustard. She said it was in the salad and I told her it was for my sandwich and she said they're not allowed to give it out but she would make an exception again. Very rude about it. Needless to say by this time I was over it. So we ate right quick and we were leaving. I noticed a pickle bucket which if anyone ever eats there, they're $3. So I walked back up to the register and asked if I could get the pickle bucket and the person at the register was totally clueless as always. Anyway, we finally got it rung up and I asked if there were any more and Miss clueless said I don't know so I asked well. Can you go look in the back and the same rude lady that had been hounding me all morning said look. We have a pickle shortage so I'm sure there's no buckets in the back so they didn't even check. So as I was walking out I asked who the manager was and it was this other lady that had been quiet the entire time I was there. So I asked her if she was really the manager? And she said yes. I asked, do you really let her treat customers this way? As rude as she is? Because I can promise you I won't be back because of how rude she is. It is ridiculous. This restaurant has gone from a nice place to grab a sub and my husband's favorite place to get us up to just downright nasty. The food quality is really gone downhill and obviously the ambiance is gone! They absolutely need to fire everybody and start over!

Food is absolutely terrible. My baked potato soup looks like Mack and cheese and my pickle had a bite taken out of it.
