My fiancée lived in Richmond for several years (we live near Pittsburgh now), and on more than one occasion she told me about Mi Rodeo. She especially talked up the queso. She was absolutely right. The queso is amazing. And the food we ordered was equally delicious and ample. The owner Efraim is a very friendly, approachable person and a joy to speak with. If you're in the area, definitely head to Mi Rodeo.
My dad used to take me here when they first opened, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. Everyone is always kind, and the food is always perfect! Consistent for like 18 years too!
My partner and I have been eating at Mi Rodeo for 5+ years and I’ve NEVER had bad service, or a bad meal here. The atmosphere of the restaurant is always pleasant even when it’s packed. The owner knows us by name and greets us every time we are seated. I’ve never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for my order. The food is consistent and always hot.
