The food is a disappointment when compared to what you can get in Miami muchlees in PR. Plus, the very small portions are expensive.

Good puertorican food, the mofongo was a little salty the octopus was old. But the alcapurrias, lechon and carne fritas were delicious.

What a shame about the negative review that a customer just wrote. I was there at the same time that the customer left the store without purchasing or consuming.

I had to wait too but the wait was definitely worth it. They do not cook in microwaves so you have to wait while they prepare the food at the moment. The reheated food thing is not true and I can attest to that. What a shame there are people who, instead of building, want to destroy the reputation of others simply because they were impatient or expected praise that they are not willing to give.

In short, very beautiful and pleasant people from our charming island who put effort and care into giving us the best of the best. Keep going with the business and with the desire to continue giving your best.

The mofongo with octopus = exquisite
Puerto Rican Chinese rice, made the way it should be!
The empanadas = very fresh and well filled!

We will definitely return!

I don't recommend such a car, terrible service, they don't know what a coffee is ☕️ with borricua milk, the sandwich 14 with potatoes, yes maybe 15 potatoes and pastrami, we didn't even see it

First time there and I ordered the chicken empanadas and alcapurrias. The alcapurrias are very salty the masa is being prepped with wayyy too much salt. The empanadas were still frozen in the middle. The chicken mofongo was ok it was too pricey for the size. I give this place an ok. I’m a Dominican born and raised in NYC and appreciate this place for almost being a cuchifrito spot. IYKYK ☺️?

If you're African American you might feel the tension. This is my second time visiting and the tension was there the first time as well. Food is really good but the feeling you get if you're a person of color is definitely uncomfortable. Although i felt uncomfortable the young man taking orders behind the counter was very nice.

Went to eat there today and to be honest me being puertorican it was very dissapointing experience. I asked for a mofongo with churrasco and I got bifstec. When I called and asked about it they said they washed meat and that is why was looking like biftec which I know is a lie because I get churrasco a lot in other places or even buy it myself to cook and if I wash it is still churrasco. What I got was biftec not churrasco and also woman on cashier not nice enough or happy to be there. Was a really uncomfortable experience so if you planning to eat churrasco this is not the place. Also bread wasnt fresh it looked like it had being there for 1 month. I rather drive to virginia beach to puertorican rest there than waste my money and time here.

Food is generally really good and definitely reminds me of home. Some downsides are it usually takes a long while for food to be served, and the last time I went the pernil was really salty. I like extra salt on my food, but this was SO salty I couldn’t finish it. Those are my only complaints though because the service is good, and like I mentioned the food is generally spot on ?✨ I recommend the mofongo with chicharrones de pollo, and you can never go wrong with the beef empanadilla

The food was good, though my empanada was not fully cooked. The rest of the food was good. Best in VA.
