My wife and I eat at Skrimp Shack in Colonial Heights regularly, we made our Friday trip last night. Got there at 6:15 pm. Rockfish no longer on menu which the owner made for me on one of our trips and I loved it. Wife ordered the catfish dinner as always, I ordered the Haddock dinner. 25 minutes after placing the order, gentlemen called my name to tell me they were out of Haddock. He wanted to substitute the fish. I didn't want any other fish. I had my Haddock order refunded, my wife's order came out 5 minutes later. She ate, I didn't. She said we will find another fish restaurant for our regular visits.

It is 8:10pm. Close at 9pm.Open sign is off. No hello or welcome when walking in. All 4 employees just stare. No music either.Clearly didn’t want us there and clearly didn’t want our business so we walked out the door ✌?

Haddock sandwich was pretty delicious and shrimp was amazing!! Definitely will be back.
The flounder And shrimp were cooked perfectly, the fries are good but the other sides not so much.

It was alright. Wasn't at all what I expected. The sandwiches seemed a bit overpriced. Quality was about on the level w/ Captain Ds. Service was good, though. Everyone was pleasant & we didn't have to wait long to pick up our order.

While the food was very good, the women in this establishment are beyond rude. I've never seen such horrible customer service in my life. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted with glares, eye rolls, and when my husband very politely asked if they had any ketchup, one of the ladies replied "I guess". A kind gentleman behind the counter was nice and got my husband some ketchup. He also was the only one to greet us warmly with a "how're y'all doing?" as we entered the door. I'm beyond disappointed in the women workers here. If y'all are so unhappy working here, time to better yourselves and move on.
