This place is great!!! The food hits the spot just right (good flavor and light but fills you up well). The servers were very nice. We ended up eating here multiple days for lunch while working in the area.
The sandwiches were out very quickly once ordered and they hit the spot. Both were tasty. The chips are a bag of Wise potato chips, not very fancy. The coconut cream pie is worth trying, very creamy and delicious.
What a true gem this boutique restaurant is! While staying nearby, we decided to explore the local countryside and, after a glorious drive, ended up in Covington at lunchtime. We walked around, stopped in a couple of charming shops, and checked TripAdvisor for nearby restaurants. And that is how we happened upon the James Burke Eatery!
