We LOVE Bar Botanical! Worth the short drive from Charlottesville and the longer drive from Palmyra. Cutest decor with a lovely rooftop deck with mountain views. The food is awesome. More of "pub food" than its sister location in C'ville. The gochu sliders, loaded hash browns, and wonton nachos are favorites. They've recently started serving pizza and we were blown away by that too. It's all vegan but don't be scared off by that -- I swear it's as good or better than the food you're used to. ;) It's seat yourself, grab your own water, casual type of vibe. But they also have attentive and friendly staff.

What a great spot in Crozet! The food is really good & flavorful. You'd never know it was plant-based. Bartender was really nice and helpful. Atmosphere has a great vibe. Highly recommend. We'll be back!

My family and I have absolutely enjoyed the food here! The vegan nachos are incredible, as are the loaded hash browns. We have enjoyed a meal here, both dining in and ordering and taking home. Friendly staff, tasty- if caloric- vegan fare. Very much enjoyed a warmer winter sunset on their rooftop deck with sweeping views. Wonton nachos were excellent as were the sliders and smores were fun on the Firepit-table. We'll be back.

I love love LOVE this place! To be transparent - I am not vegan but it does not matter at all - the food is always fresh, delicious and creative. I have tried nearly every dish on the menu and cocktails and particularly am in awe of the crab cakes and sliders. Staff are a delight and I am so glad they remember my name now when I pop in. The wines are great selections as well ? And the events! Thank you - thank you - THANK YOU for debuting drag performances in Crozet! Absolutely have a blast at these and look forward to more. Glad to see heaters installed on the roof as hoping to keep being out there in winter. Tomorrow is my parents 40th anniversary! Normally they would have gone to the Cracker Barrel for dinner to celebrate but tonight I convinced them to go to my friend Ryan's new ROOFTOP vegan restaurant and boy are they glad they did! It was FREAKING fabulous!! OMG!!! Everything was deeeeelicious but the absolute best thing was her crab cakes on top of ceaser salad!! I've never had anything better! And she serves my friend Paige's raw vegan desserts called Empowered Plant Cakes so I am just in vegan heaven!! I will definitely be back and hell this place is so good I might have to move here!! Ryan is a terrific cook, and the setting could not be more beautiful on top of the building in Central Crozet with a view of the mountains. Delicious, vegan food that even non-vegans will be salivating over. We had a wonderful experience the two times we have been.

Tasty drinks and vegan snacks with a nice view. The main reason to visit Bar Botanical is to sit outside with a lovely view of the blue ridge mountains. We visited on a Friday night, and it was busy, but there were tables available. Ordering is carried out by smartphone. Everything we ordered arrived quickly. I tried two of their cocktails and their popcorn "chicken". I was pleased with my selections. I would definitely visit Bar Botanical again.

First time at Bar Botanical. Fabulous renovation with a great outdoor patio area. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Food and drinks wonderful! We had the lentil tacos, wonton nachos and Caesar salad all tasty and colorful. The Casablanca cocktail was just ok, but the Juicebox was excellent! Will definitely come back!
