Rachel made our wedding cake which looked amazing and tasted absolutely delicious. She was very communicative and we loved doing a tasting in her studio to try out the flavours in advance of the wedding. We had fresh flowers from our florist on the cake and Rachel made our lives much easier by chatting to our florist directly about what she needed for her design. Couldn’t recommend her more!

We ordered a two tiered wedding cake with sugar flowers and couples cat w/bowtie, Chocolate mousse cups, Hungarian shortbread and shortbread cookies for my daughter's wedding. Everything tasted yummy! The details of sugar flowers and Louis the cat were incredible everyone at the wedding loved the cake and all the desserts!! They were wonderful to work with and quick to respond to communication. Highly recommend!!

When we went for our cake tasting, Rachel was prepared, helpful, and so very kind. We honestly had a hard time picking our cake flavors because everything we tasted was AMAZING! Seriously, everything we tried- the chocolate chip cookies, key lime cups, shortbread cookies, mini pies- were all the best we had ever had. We used Cakes by Rachel for our bridal shower, wedding, and rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal dinner included a custom groom's cake that was stunning. The design was so intricate and well done we were blown away. We worked closely with Cakes by Rachel to develop the perfect flavors for our wedding cake. Since their on-site tastings were fully booked, we ordered a tasting package to try the flavors at home, which was a great experience. Once we narrowed down our choices, Rachel scheduled a FaceTime call to finalize the vision for our cake. She absolutely nailed it—it was everything we had hoped for and more!
We loved their desserts so much that we also ordered lavender shortbread cookies, bourbon pecan brownies, and cupcakes inspired by the cake flavors. Every single treat was a huge hit with our guests, and by the end of the night, almost everything was gone!
Rachel personally delivered the cake, adding a lovely, personal touch to the service.

Her team was talented, dependable, responsive, patient, considerate, kind, organized, and very helpful as we worked through many scenarios. Grace, in particular, promptly responded to each inquiry and gave wonderful advice. Once we made our selections, we were treated to an afternoon tasting that was so much fun and delicious! One of the highlights of wedding planning! Rachel grasped my daughter’s vision of design for the cake also by incorporating the lace detail of her dress. The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. Everything was superb including the dessert bar offerings of chocolate bourbon pecan bars, key lime cheesecakes, and gluten free brownies! Rachel and Grace also provided beautiful cake and dessert stands for everything. This was a wonderful service that we appreciated very much. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Rachel and her talented team and I highly recommend them!

Rachel was lovely from start to finish, she invited us over to taste cakes, and my goodness we pretty much tried every flavour and they were all yummy! A big bonus was that Rachel did not charge for us to do a taste test, which is super important when deciding what flavour we wanted! Rachel was happy to adapt and make any changes for us. She arrived the morning of our wedding to set up the cake, ensuring it was it's freshest. Everyone was very complimentary of our cake. It suited our theme/venue perfectly and tasted amazing! We had a three tier cake, each tier was a different flavour but all presented beautifully. We cannot recommend Cakes by Rachel enough. She is lovely and her cakes are soo tasty!
Kid-friendliness: Rachel had no issue allowing us to bring our children to the taster session. (We did ensure they were well behaved!)
