Not friendly or welcoming. I'm a local and would not return because we just weren't treated nicely. There are too many wineries in the area to return to a place that felt like it was a burden that we were there.

First of all, Grace Estate is such a beautiful place to spend time sharing a bottle of wine on a nice day - we so enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains and watching the goats graze and play nearby. The staff is truly exceptional; we left our daughter's coveted stuffed animal here and they were quick to respond, meeting us when the winery was closed so we could reunite them. We're so grateful and will be back to enjoy your wine again in the near future!

Exceptional service and fantastic wines. I did an event there and was given a free glass of my choice of wine. I bought a bottle of it same day (Count Stephen Merlot) and then came back and bought a variety for Christmas presents.

My wife loves wine so we took a one week trip to the Charlottesville area wineries for her birthday this year. We visited 10 wineries and liked most of them, but Grace Estate was easily our favorite. The wine is excellent, the property and tasting room are beautiful, the views are gorgeous, the service is top notch, and the whole place has a very intimate and personal feel. They even had good pizza, and charcuterie for when we got hungry. Mike was especially accommodating and a lot of fun to be around. Five stars all around for us. We are members in their wine club and will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.
