Mi Rancho Mexican Crozet

Great staff serving great authentic Mexicano cuisine. Ambience a bit quirky but lots of fun. Great family place.

Wonderful food. Great welcome. It would be helpful if all the staff spoke and understood English.

We actually went to the Thai restaurant next door which was very good.

Ate here tonight after a quick drive to Skyline Drive to see the leaves and the sunset. Service was fast and friendly. Food was flavorful and there was plenty of it. Definitely recommend and would eat here again.

Gave this place a second try, bad idea. Food was OK, fast but the service was horrible both times. Your food will never carry the bad service. I will travel to Cville and have El Patron in the future. Felt as though I was troubling the staff with my questions. Sorry I like house hot suace as it is key to flavor. Top shelf margarita not worth the buy up, weak and flavorless. Timing of food after appetizer was poor to say the least.

This was my absolute favorite restaurant but as today no more sadly few things:
- food today tasted like freezer burn or when something is left opened in the fridge
- explained to our server who immediately was not as nice
- was not only my food but another party with our table
- able across the way an elderly couple also had the same issue
- being a regular patron the least they could of done was say sorry - no apology ..ok
- they could of given us credit for 1 of the several meals again say so sorry - nope
- I paid the full bill did not say a word but mostly sad that they turned out to be ugly and the food was not good.
- everyone and even businesses have a bad day but no accountability is not acceptable.

It took me about 10 minutes to explain to the waiter what I wanted for my order, which was directly from the menu. Not sure what the joke is here but it must be me.

This review dictated by 7 year old Lois: "My favorite restaurant is in Old Trail and it is called 'Mi Rancho'. I bring friends and family here, we always have so much fun. My favorite thing is the kid's steak taco with a side of rice and beans. Thank you so much to the staff, they are amazing. You have made this the best life ever, I couldn't have wished for anything better."

We love this place. Stop every time we visit family in Crozet. Clean, friendly, great food. Affordable prices with good portions. Try the Enchilada California.

This place the Very bad attention and service, the food is not authentic Mexican, that is Tex Mex

TL;DR: Only Mexican restaurants in Crozet but they do not let down. Food is excellent. Chips are fresh and can easily fill you up if you’re not careful.
