Old Trail - Restoration Restaurant

My husband and I experienced a wonderful meal at Restoration in Old Trail. The menu featured Valentine specials offering a variety of choices to appeal to seafood lovers, vegetarians and meat lovers. The tables were festively decorated in red and white accents. The service was excellent and the meal was superbly prepared. We enjoyed oysters Rockefeller, shrimp scampi and seared scallops done to perfection! We highly commend the chef, Elisa, the manager, and the entire staff at Restoration ! Crozet has needed a restaurant of this quality for many years.

Sat at the bar and the service was very poor. Food and drinks are way overpriced, save your money.

We have enjoyed restoration for more than eight years. Their menu, service, and prices have never been better. We recently had a family brunch, and it was delightful. The menu is very well crafted. The prices are excellent. And the service has always been great. Sitting on their patio on a warm fall Sunday morning, made it a fun memorable experience .

Prime rib night..the worst food, and $14 a glass for cheap wine. We keep trying to give them another chance but no more

Delicious food. Ordered the ribeye, fish and chips, kids chicken tenders, and crispy chicken sandwich. My 4 and 2 year old ate well and it was very kid friendly. Not annoying crowded or loud.

Excellent! Service, food, facility and the surprising pineapple margarita - all wonderful. One fish and chips and one bruchetta chicken with excellent accompaniments....almost ordered fries for dessert!

Made reservations for 7 pm on a Friday night. Got seated outside quickly. Then nothing. 10 minutes goes by, and they bring water, and they ask if anyone had helped us yet. We said not. A few minutes later, a very young rude waitress came by and took our drink and food order. She told us our drinks would be right out. Another 10 minutes goes by and nothing. Total 30 mins of my life wasted. No drinks, no food, nothing. Very unorganized and very unprofessional. I would not recommend it to anyone and will never go back. I should send them an invoice for wasting my time.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Restoration Hall and Event Tent tonight, for our son and his bride to be. It was wonderful. Everything was set up and ready to go on time. The buffet dinner was set up and ready at our requested time. The servers were attentive and professional. We could not be more pleased. Dawn and her staff were so easy to deal with in the planning stages leading up to the event. Thank you all for making our special occasion so successful.

I was so excited to try this place! Unfortunately I was super disappointed. We showed up and they didn’t have a table ready for us - they put us out in the grass and grabbed tables and chairs to make it work. Once sat, we ordered drinks and apps which came out in a reasonable amount of time. When we placed our food order we had to flag down the waitress. Once placed, we sat… and sat… and sat.. after 45 mins of hearing nothing (no refill for water or drinks) I finally went inside to the bar to cancel our dinner. All I was told was “sorry the kitchens backed up”. Mind you - multiple big tables around us that sat down AFTER us were already ready for desert. Super bummed because the ambiance is great but service is sub par.

Our dessert was warm on the outside and cold on the inside. It was a bread pudding and it was good but I could tell it was reheated and improperly done. There were two waitresses and one of which found family or friends or someone she knew at a larger table behind us and decided to sit there and hang out for quite sometime while the other one seemed to be attending to everyone including our table. Took forever to get the food. We ordered a mini pizza for my toddler and the whole plate was hot.. I couldn’t imagine why the whole plate needed to be hot unless this was microwaved. I was definitely disappointed.
