Pretty views, okay even if high priced wine, but having toddlers running around and a woman breast feeding while drinking wine to boot. Both were a huge turn off from coming back. Winery's are no place for kids.
Hidden gem of Charlottesville. BEAUTIFUL views, great wine, and a very calm ambiance. Live music 1x/week throughout the warmer months. Don’t miss it!
Enjoyed Flights 1 and 2 here in the outside covered area. The wines are nice. We really liked the Cab Franc and the champagne. Bottle prices are a bit high. They offer four different flight options which you take with you to try on your own.
Amazing place and fabulous wine
Beautiful location! Stinson Vineyards is the perfect place to enjoy a casual afternoon. Their wine is absolutely delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the views are stunning. I also love that you can bring your own food as a picnic or to grill!
Beautiful scenery, recommend spending a bit extra for their reserve selections, pricy but very worth it.
We love this place. Having grown up in Virginia, this was the first VA wine that really spoke to me. The tasting room staff is amazing. Very knowledgeable and really care about their product. And… there is a wine for everyone here. Such a great selection. And some of the most beautiful views in Albemarle. The autumn views are spectacular.
This is such a nice place. They even have a children playground area. Family-friendly place. Very beautiful view!
We’ve been members here for years and love the view, the service and the wines. It’s also very family friendly and our kids love the juice tasting and the area where they can play. We’ve only ever had great experiences here and make a drive to return multiple times a year.
Small vineyard and winery with a beautiful open Mountain View in remote White Hall. Enjoyed our day snacking and tasting on the porch in comfy chairs.

We have been enjoying this place for years and it just keeps getting better. Tasting room manager Jessie always takes great care of us, the views are amazing and the wine is spot on, every time. Love it!
Beautiful vineyard with excellent wines.
Nice and relaxing on the Friday of Labor Day weekend - not too busy, so plenty of good tables available and short wait at the counter. I had the red flight (18 and 19 Meritages, 21 Petite Verdot); all were excellent. I liked the '18 best, even though the '19 is more highly awarded. My wife's favorite is the Sauvignon Blanc, so she had that by the glass instead of the white flight. My only regret: the Cab Franc, usually my favorite, wasn't on the flight.
Delicious Virginia wine in a classic French style.
My two sisters enjoyed it.
