I love cheap food and I don’t mind low quality food.
This place made me rethink what I’m willing to eat. I can stomach frozen dollar store burgers and old gas station burgers, somehow the Whistle Stop makes an even lesser burger. Their burger is somehow lacking in flavor, while being overpowering at the same time. Mouthfeel of grease and with mayonnaise/ketchup being the main flavors.

Very underwhelming food. The hash browns came with a hair. And they were cold and looked old. The overall experience was very not good and I wouldn’t recommend. And the price on the menu did not match. I got charged more at the end

Bonnie is tha best! The overall atmosphere from the open kitchen to the presence of many other older customers makes this the best all-around cafe for me and my coffee group to meet at once a week. Other generations love it too if my son is any measure.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options seemed just about but I’m looking forward to ordering the fish entree. My meat eating buddies were really pleased with their non-Vegetarian breakfasts
Wheelchair accessibility: accessibility seems good for the elderly especially for those on awkward crutches like me.

Great breakfast. The restaurant had two large tables of 6+ people and the staff was in high gear! Nice to see staff that is working hard for the customers! Ordered the “Train Wreck” and it was delicious. Keep up the good work. Hope to visit again!
Stumbled upon Whistle Stop Grill and the Stoney Creek Freedom Fest this weekend. We had their Maple bacon burger and it was so good we had to get a second one the next day for lunch. I definitely recommend trying.

I ordered breakfast and asked for an onion, mushroom, and cheese omlette (I repeated it twice). I was talking to the woman next to me and half paying attention to my food, but half way thru the omlette, I noticed some mustard on my plate - it was then that I realized she gave me an onion, mustard, and cheese omlette. Crazy! I said something to the woman who checked me out - You would think she would've given me a discount, or not even charged me for the omlette, but no, she charged me full price for the meal! Not cool! The food is just OK, and I would say this place is pricey for the amount of food you get.... You won't put on weight eating here, that's for sure!
