The food was delicious! Most authentic Greek food I have had in a long time. You must stop in and try their cuisine!

My wife and I were in Culpeper today to attend her uncles service at the Culpeper National Cemetary. After the service was looking for a place to eat. My wife and her uncle are Greek and I noticed this gem while looking through Google. We decided to go in his honor. Charlottesville has many Greek owned restaurants but our trip to Albanas was our first time at a place that served totally Greek cuisine. I can't think of the right words to describe our experience that would do justice. I think I have found a new favorite restaurant. The food and atmosphere was so delightful and amazing. The food was so fresh and everything is made in house. The pita bread melted in your mouth and my wife and I ordered the Gyro and we both commented that as Gyro fans it was the very best we had the pleasure to sink our teeth into. We had a awesome Greek salad as well and the dressing was so flavor packed and refreshing. Can't wait to make the trek back to Culpeper again soon to partake in this great establishment. We met Albana while we were there and she was very nice and you can tell she takes great care and pride in what she serves and the customer service from the other staff was supurb as well. This was also our first experience at a restaurant where a robot brings your food out to the table. I was very impressed with the people, food and atmosphere. Culpeper definitely has a little corner of Greece in its midst!

My favorite restaurant in Culpeper. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious (souvlaki, gyro, appetizers, Greek potatoes, Greek green beans, dollars, salad, baklava, etc). The food is fresh and the owner is lovely!

They even have a Bellabot that serves your food quickly- and even the robot is friendly! Great atmosphere + homemade baklava, + aqesome service = definitely a must visit when in Culpeper!

Absolutely amazing place. Delicious authentic food made from fresh from scratch, makes your mouth water just thinking about it. Albana is amazing chef. And Erin is the sweetest host/waiter you can find. They treat each guest as a family, my kids absolute adore them , as well as cleaning out each plate they are served. If you haven’t tied it yet you are missing out big time! This is truly a piece of Greek heaven here in Culpeper !

Kasey McCormick, I hope that you will give it another try. You had a fluke of an experience. As you can see by the reviews. It happens I know, and it never should but it does.
Albana is the real deal. She does not leave the cooking to others until she has trained them well. The food is amazing here and it’s such a bummer you had a bad experience.
It’s not often you find authentic food from overseas in a rural spot like Culpeper.

Server forgot a few of our items, at the end of the meal we informed servers so it wouldn’t be on our bill but instead were brought the items and charged. Dolmas weren’t very good, the lamb chops were good but small. We were the only customers in there and didn’t get very good service. Won’t be back

My wife and I found this place yesterday after a doctor's appointment in Culpeper 12-10-24. Initially it was a bit of a wait to get service, seated right away by a server and there was only 1 other person in drinking wine at the bar. Lady at the bar said its ok the wait is worth it for the food and atmosphere. So, I decided to give them a chance.

SO glad I did! We both got Gyros and souvlaki, they were absolutely amazing. Good portion sizes for the price and the appetizer pita bread with dipping sauce was amazing. They brought it out on a Bella robot, SO COOL. That Robot was so cute, even got to pat its head and it sang to us. So cute.

For those that have wrote reviews and do not understand why, it is extremely hard now days to find reliable staff first who even want to work and those that do typically do not last long. For this reason, robot waiters are starting to pop up in a lot of restaurants so they can cover the floor when it is only limited staff available and do so with some class. Also helps cut their overhead and tips go to the people that matter, ones preparing food and logistics that keep the place open.

The restaurant itself has a lot of hand painting and Greek/Italian themed scenery makes it relax. Wine selections were excellent. Also has little touch lamps to help light up your particular table if you want or add a romantic ambience to it. Highly recommend.

Finally, because it was mid-day we got to meet the owner, and she was very friendly, personable, got to know us as we were local to the area. Discussing challenges of owning a business locally with permits etc and our kids. She was a really good person and quite attractive to boot.

Wife and I liked it enough we will absolutely be back with our kids to try a dinner service. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a calm atmosphere and great food.

Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved the robot kitty waiter.

My papu( grandfather) was Greek.
How can you call it a Greek salad , there were no Greek olives( kalamata) or green peppers and hardly any feta. I asked for extra feta( NOT)
The dressing was pure vinegar.
