If you are in the Culpeper's area and you want to eat some good food, definitely Albana's Taverna is your reference. Not only you'll feel welcome by the staff, but also the food is amazing. From there, I had my introduction to Greek food, since then, it is my favorite place. It's not a big place, but it is cozy with a rustic aspect. Try it and you won't regret it.
Best place in Culpeper to dine out. Flavorful. Authentic. Delicious every bite. Every time we go always consistently great. The staff is always pleasant. The owner is head chef. She knows what she's doing for sure.
So I totally massacred the Gyro before I decided to take the picture… this place is a hidden gem, that we are so glad we found here in our wonderful Culpeper county. The bread is as fresh and as tasty as can be. The hummus, world class. And their traditional gyro sandwich was as good as any I have ever had. The service is also prompt and warm. 5 stars for Albanas with room for a 6th!! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
