My husband and I were visiting the area from out of town. Someone recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The servers were excellent, the food was top notch and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Would highly recommend!

I love Grass Rootes! A great spot for dinner, lunch or brunch. I always get shrimp here because they cook it perfectly every time! I don’t drink alcohol so being able to get a mocktail while my friends have cocktails makes me feel like I’m part of the group! 🤣

The shrimp and grits is good! The andouille sauce is spicey!! I’m glad the waitress recommended to put it on the side!

We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary at Grass Roots last night, and it was absolutely perfect. With the new ownership, the care and attention to detail truly shine. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was cozy and romantic—especially sitting near the fireplace on a winter evening.
