Great place. We started with the fried zucchini, it came out piping hot and it was delicious. I had the Piedmont Burger with cheddar cheese and bacon with a side of fries and the wife had the grilled chicken with bacon jam with a side of sweet potato fries. Both were juicy and delicious. Service was spot-on and extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxing. We will definitely be coming back.

I did not have a reservation but I was lucky enough to squeeze into the bar as a solo. I have to say that the staff is extremely friendly and very good at the jobs. The food is five stars and you should definitely make a reservation for this place as soon as possible.

What an amazing group of people. We reached out to Mr. Waddell about doing a last minute group dinner. He didn't hesitate and said he could fit us in. This was the very first time that I brought my family here for a going away dinner for our daughter. Sitting upstairs it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves however, every table was full of other customers, but we still felt like we were important. Jaime was our waitress and by far she was on the ball and up to the task of our particular family. She made everything pleasant and wonderful. The next function will definitely be here again. To top it all off. The food was great too! Thank you to this entire group for a great experience, great service and great food.
Not what I expected here after dropping $100/ with 4 of us hungry for what we thought would be a great steak. Obviously for those that rate this establishment highly have no clue. Brandon is correct, you will get a better seasoned steak for 1/3 the price elsewhere. Not only are the steaks overpriced, they brought 4 small pieces of bread and butter to the table and informed us if we wanted more it was $5 extra, seriously, when I'm buying a $70 steak!! Sides with the meal were ordinary at best and the deserts were nothing to write home about either. Servers were great and that's about the only thing. How this gets accolades about being VA's #1 Steakhouse is beyond me. They must be buying that title!! All in all, don't waste your money.............spend it wisely elsewhere

On Saturday, August 16 2025, my family of nine adults and one 3.5 year old, came to your restaurant at 5:30pm. This was a celebration of 2 birthdays and an anniversary. Timing for food ordering was ok; the food was ok; but when we asked for the ticket, it took more than 1 hour to separate tickets which were not correct and more time was spent correcting the bill. After we called the manager to come stand over the waitress to get the tickets correct, we received the correct tickets. Then it took another 30 minutes to get the bills paid and leave the restaurant. The total visit was 3 hours and the temperature was 80 degrees or more. The delay in time put 2 older people who were driving in peril because they are not confident at driving at night and they had to start their return home at 7:30pm as it was getting dark. Beware!!!

I got the crab and lobster cakes they were so good as well as the new york steak. This restaurant not only has great food but also great people they are so nice and will recommend different things, this place should on a bucket list.
