Great food. However, there seems to be no alternative if you need to change how it is made. No substitutions. Sorry, owner came across rude and if you didn't like it then don't eat. Not a place I will be returning no matter how good the food is.
Visiting from Belgium and having visited Culpeper already several times, we only just discovered Uncle Elders during our most recent trip. A pity we didn't discover it earlier!

We visited for the first time the restaurant, one hour and a haft before they closed; unfortunately just sausages were offer. Owner’s advise to be there any day by 4:00pm for the full menu.
