This place...Seriously good eats! Some of the best BBQ I've had, and I've been all over the US. Great smoke, juicy, tender... And their Carolina sauce is awesome.Try the ribs - the dry rub is a perfect balance with the Kansas City sauce...And get the broccoli. I know: "broccoli at a BBQ place!? You nuts!?"Try it. They tossed it with the Carolina sauce! Amazing.Go hungry.
Food was cold, cooked to death with no real flavor. For a BBQ place the ribs were sadly over cooked to the point of almost jerky in texture. Payed 37$ for a combo platter+ 1 meat (7$ for extra meat) that included maybe a sandwich worth of pulled pork , 5 ribs and 6 slices of pork tenderloin the size of a quarter. Now I'm a good eater but this was bad to the point I didn't finish any of it. Not at all impressed and won't go back.

Nice and clean but wish they served food other than just ice
Stopped on the way through town on a road trip. It was over a week ago now and we've been eating out for a week straight, so I don't remember every detail but I remember we did enjoy the food, and it came out quickly. The potato salad was mayo based, nice and dilly. The ribs were pretty good, not GOAT but perfectly serviceable. I think hubs got pulled pork and opinion about the same. Sorry it's not super detailed but mainly I'm doing this so I remember next time we drive through to stop here again. Table service, but still casual, big patio and plenty of indoor seating. If you want to sit in a chair that Bush Sr. sat in, this is your place (hubby said he should have taken that chair and farted in it, but YMMV).

We ordered the small tailgate order with BBQ, coleslaw, baked beans, and potato salad for 4 people. I have had better BBQ there but this order half of the BBQ was pulled but half was hard and tough chunks. We did not care for how runny the potato salad was and would not order that again. Portions are adequate and the price is reasonable.

I've been eating at this place several times a year for probably 18 years. Have always loved the food, especially the ribs, though sometimes they were a bit undercooked and not at all tender. When they were, I would take them home and cook them some more. But tonight I was totally disappointed - the sweet potato fries would have been fine but someone had had a VERY heavy hand with the salt. I prefer they let me decide how much salt to use. And my ribs, well, they had gone beyond adequately cooked and were well into jerky territory - terribly dry. I'm still going with four stars because I've been pretty satisfied with them in the past. Also the service had always been good, and was good tonight. I'm sure I'll try the Pigs again but I'm not sure I'll ever order the ribs again.

My family has been coming here for a few years weekly at times. Over the years, things have started to decline. The staff is always nice and the service is usually good to ok. The food has started to decline as of late. We don't go anywhere near like we used to for this reason. We haven't given up because it's still good... just not as great as it was.
