Stopped on the way through town on a road trip. It was over a week ago now and we've been eating out for a week straight, so I don't remember every detail but I remember we did enjoy the food, and it came out quickly. The potato salad was mayo based, nice and dilly. The ribs were pretty good, not GOAT but perfectly serviceable. I think hubs got pulled pork and opinion about the same. I've been eating at this place several times a year for probably 18 years. Have always loved the food, especially the ribs, though sometimes they were a bit undercooked and not at all tender. When they were, I would take them home and cook them some more. But tonight I was totally disappointed - the sweet potato fries would have been fine but someone had had a VERY heavy hand with the salt. I prefer they let me decide how much salt to use. This place...Seriously good eats! Some of the best BBQ I've had, and I've been all over the US. Great smoke, juicy, tender... And their Carolina sauce is awesome.Try the ribs - the dry rub is a perfect balance with the Kansas City sauce...And get the broccoli. I know: "broccoli at a BBQ place!? You nuts!?"Try it.
