They will be renamed UnWined and move right across the parking lot very soon. Great service and absolutely phenomenal food. The steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Very tasty mash potatoes and the asparagus was great too. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Amazing food! We had pizza, lemon drop, and the tiramisu. Fantastic service and we had a great time!

Tired and hungry after a long drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we wanted quality food and drink. We got that here.
We shared a wood fired pizza and a salad. Our server was great and she looked after us like family.
Food and service was amazing! Will be going back.

What a wonderful experience! The food was outstanding, and the service was equally impressive.
Mia was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She took great care of us throughout our meal.
The fire roasted trout was phenomenal, but I have to give a special shoutout to the asparagus. It was the most tender and flavorful asparagus I’ve ever had!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back. 🩷

Great food and atmosphere. Slightly salty veggies otherwise very tasty. Welcoming to a 2yo who was well behaved enjoying the art work and busy people. Will definitely go back to sample more of the excellent menu!

I’ve been going to Tizzone since the day they opened. Ive always enjoyed the food although there’s always a long wait. However, last weekend will be my last time visiting this establishment. Last weekend my family and I visited Tizzones for my birthday. While they do not take reservations we called ahead of time and they told us to come 30 min early to insure we could all sit together. My sister arrived 30 min early and still they act like they had no idea what was going on and we had to end up sitting separately. On top of that, when the appetizers came out, they brought out a stack of small plates. Cool, no big deal. We, however, didn’t use all the small plates so they just sat there. During the main course, we saw a roach crawl out of the plates onto the table that’s filled with our food, glasses, black napkins, etc. everyone at the table screams and jump up and there’s no waiters or waitresses around. When they finally come over the act as if the bug doesn’t exist bc we no longer see it on the table and it has crawled somewhere. By this time the entire table of 8 people is now standing up. No one has finished their food. I’m more disappointed in the fact that no one cared. No one empathized with us. All they said is they bring in cleaning people, etc. that may be true but what was also true is there was a roach crawling on white plates and it got onto a dark table. I felt like they tried to make it seem like we were making this up bc we were the only black people in the restaurant. It was not good service. Not good hospitality. They never asked if there was anything they could do to accommodate us. Only to be sure we come again.

Absolutely delightful experience from beginning to end. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, helpful, and personable. Our server was Elizabeth, and she was fun to chat with and excellent overall. The pizzas were delicious and the house wines were delicious. I would come back here in a heartbeat - will definitely remember to stop by the next time I’m in the area!

1st time in in the Roanoke area and had a meeting in Danville. Stopped here after the meeting for lunch and can say it was a good recommendation.
The staff was courteous and friendly. Food service was expedient. The starter was a goat cheese, honey and fig mix. Was fantastic.
I had the crab cake sandwich minus the bread. The meal came with a side salad. My colleague had the pizza and it was good.
Nice restaurant located in a nice area that was recently developed.
Go back? Sure, the next time I am back.

Gluten free options available. It is not marked on the menu but they were able to make the sandwiches gluten free by using the pizza crust for the bread. It worked out well and tasted great. Dog friendly patio and friendly service.

We stopped in for drinks and dinner after attending a Saturday theatre matinee at Attic Productions in nearby Fincastle. My wife enjoyed Tizzone's signature Pablano soup. I had a house salad, and we split a classic pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious! For drinks my wife had a whiskey crush cocktail, and I had a glass of red zinfandel. Service was excellent, food was excellent, drinks were excellent. We will be back!
