I am on a work trip to Martinsville. I stopped by Ma's Cakes and she recommended me to try King Cropp Kitchen. I am so glad she did. The food was amazing. The service was great, my waitress was so nice. I even met the Owner. This is good comfort food. I would highly recommend. I will definitely come back next time I am in town. Go check it out!

I’m not even sure how to lead off this review other than saying, if you’re local or traveling in for the Casino - DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE.

The restaurants southern charm and hospitality was extremely welcoming (I’m tattooed from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet) the owners and staff welcomed us in graciously and fed us some of the best southern cookin’ I’ve had in a very long time! This restaurant caters to alpha gal syndrome and doesn’t serve pork or beef but don’t let that set you back, the food is seasoned, cooked just right, and made with love!
Hey vegetarians, this place has you covered! Tons of great options, and majority of the sides are veggie friendly!
Now that you’ve read this, don’t sleep on this place and say hi to the owners, they’re awesome.

An especially quaint little space, formally a house? Friendly staff, all of them! Shrimp special was top notch. A modest but effective choice of craft brews, after our full day at the infamous Bright Leaf Beer Festival. Well done.

Let me start by saying: I love this cauliflower crust pizza. Super crunchy, which is not always the case. I cannot give 5 stars for two reasons: #1-no accommodations for handicap patrons. You have to walk up two sets of steep stairs (about 30). They have beautiful outside dining, but it is reserved for the main restaurant (King Cropp).; #2 expensive up charges- cauliflower crust 12” +$5, fresh mozzarella +$4, basil+$2A 12” Aloha Pizza w/cauliflower crust and fresh mozzarella and a very small Blue Cheese Caesar Salad, tap water to drink Cost me $42. They included a tip bc there were 5 people at out table. ?
