Got fried rice and chicken and noodles A piece of mental was in the food. Called and told them she said it was prob from the brush that he use to clean the grill. Told her I would like a refund she said ok. Then called me back and asked did I eat the food and bring it back. Ma’am absolutely you can get it back bc after that first spoon and metal in my mouth it killed my appetite. 1st and last time eating there

My favorite is hibachi. I live in Martinsville VA and Yamato’s here has fell off. Rice sometimes mushy, steak raw and chewy when I ask for well done. Then they don’t want to replace it. Ate here first time chicken and steak hibachi. The steak was the best I ever had from a restaurant, tender and well done. Portions were large. I don’t mind paying more if it’s worth it and it is worth it

I was very disappointed with the food. It’s been years since I ate there but went last night. Rice was dry, low quality meat. I used to love their food. Definitely was not worth $60.00 for my family of 4.

a very rare gem in takeout/rip-off food now-a-days. It's not a 5 star sit down, not perfectly fresh -- more of a diner/dive kinda place but it excels in this category. Only fair value meal I have found in the whole area

Ordered the steak and shrimp with vegetables to go. Everything was good except the vegetables were salted to the point you could feel the granuals gritting when you bit them.

I love the food but i really hate calling to place an order and always getting a busy signal or placed on hold. Are you guys thinking of online orders in the future ?
Ordered a steak and shrimp entree, but was given steak and chicken and didn't discover it until I got home. The steak was awful and chewy, the chicken was dry, but had more flavor than the steak. Rice was the only good thing about it. I've had good food here before at lunch, so I guess the evening shift needs to do better. Until then, we won't be going back.
