I got a cinnamon twist today (10/31/2025) and I returned it to the shop. They are not glazing the whole thing and it seems they are not using the same glaze. It was very dry, like maybe it was from the day before. I put a little heat to it hoping it would soften it up, it still didn’t taste any better. It’s been several months since I have been there and I know something has changed. The employee who helped with the return was very nice and I didn’t just blast my complaint out, so other customers could hear me. I may return and see if that was just a off day.

I never give bad reviews, even if something is bad, but this was absolutely the most rudest meanest person I’ve ever come in contact with in a restaurant. And she had no caring to help or even try to give decent service. Danville donuts used to be our favorite place to go before school every morning now they the lady that used to run. The front desk is no longer there and they’ve got the meanest woman working there with the attitude problem. We will never return. I’m sure they’re losing a lot of business by getting rid of that older lady who helped everyone.. i’ve never seen a more rude person than the black haired lady working there now.
I walked in and the first thing i seen was a smashed cockroach that was still twitching.

I gave this business a 5 star because I’ve been there 3 times and the donuts were good and fresh. I’ll give the staff a 1 star because I felt unwelcome the 3 times I went there and I am a Friendly person. I would say they need to work on a better customer service. I told my daughter I will go there one more time and if I get the same energy like I don’t belong there, I will take my business elsewhere. The donuts were great though.
