This location is a blast from the past. Golden Skillets used to reign the southern states and eastern seaboard. This location epitomizes the heyday of GS. The chicken liver box is our goto every time we visit. You also can’t beat their fried chicken. You will have to wait a bit for your order, but that’s because they are actually cooking it. Not pulling it from under a heat lamp behind the counter. Places like these should be thriving over over commercialized and fake country restaurants like Cracker Barrel.
