The chicken is always good here i love the light batter thats on the chicken. the mashed potatoes with the chicken gray is absolutely delicious, coleslway is good although its yellow. biscutts are ok a lil dry but ok definetly with the gravy. The resturant could use some cleaning though i think. Kinda old and a lil out dated but still noce. the staff are veryu friendly and there is hardly any wait for your food.
The chicken is always delicious and juicy. The burgers are the best that I've had anywhere in Danville. The staff are always nice and welcoming. Don't let the fact it looks a little run down drive you away. I've never had a bad experience here!
This location is a blast from the past. Golden Skillets used to reign the southern states and eastern seaboard. This location epitomizes the heyday of GS. The chicken liver box is our goto every time we visit. You also can’t beat their fried chicken. You will have to wait a bit for your order, but that’s because they are actually cooking it. Not pulling it from under a heat lamp behind the counter. Places like these should be thriving over over commercialized and fake country...
