Hi, this was a pleasant surprise in Danville. Fresh, gluten-free food prepared carefully and served efficiently and with warmth. The mac and cheese dish I had exceeded my expectations for flavor throughout the course, and the waffle fries seemed to have been prepared with thoughtfulness unusual with deep-fried food. It is almost as if they were hand cut and fried carefully. The resulting balance of flavors was outstanding. The service was excellent despite there being a dining rush on a Friday evening. The atmosphere is good, but only lacks one star because while everything is clean and everyone is friendly, the dining room is a bit utilitarian. Not a bad thing in an otherwise excellent restaurant.

I just want to say, the service here at King Cropp was phenomenal! My husband and I drove almost an hour away, with our anticipation GREATLY building.
We were NOT disappointed.
From the very beginning the staff was extremely kind and likeable, and the owner was just as friendly and reassuring as the rest. They answered all my questions, as silly as they were, they reassured me constantly that they take the utmost time and care to make sure nothing is cross contaminated. We ordered the fried pickles as the appetizer, with the alpha gal ranch, (since the five of us in my family all have alpha gal) and it was fantastic! I ordered the southern fried chicken, with coleslaw and waffle fries. My husband ordered the cauliflower nuggets with the spicy sauce, tater tots, and homemade pickles. Again, absolutely amazing and the portions were massive! Everything we ate was immaculate and tasty as could be. We still have a huge plate of leftovers, and we cannot wait to come back again. 10 out of 10, for atmosphere, service, and food!!

My wife and I were absolutely amazed at how massive the portions were and how delicious everything was. My whole family of 5 have alpha gal and we have been dying to find a place to accommodate our allergies. This place had zero issues making sure we had a great experience. They were very kind, courteous, and very reassuring. This place is a breath of fresh air, and I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality! We will be back very soon!
