Ok I'm giving you the 1 year review as I said I would I know the owner since day one of this place opening.....Im giving you 4 stars but it should honestly be 5 only reason for not giving you that 5th star is because you have raised your prices 3 times already this year .......I know inflation has hurt a lot of small businesses but you can't expect to keep your doors open with your prices going up especially catering to country folk in lower class community 16.00 for a normal order of fajitas it was 13 dollars then 14.50 then last night it was 17 dollars the cost of fajitas for two is 18 dollars at los trace and you get a massive portion of meat not two many vegetables now los trace lost my business so I'm not really trying to compare you to the because you are so much better the food is authentic I'm from Texas I know good Mexican better then most we just gotta get them prices stabilized and on big menu items that are going to cost 16 dollars needs to be 1/3 more on portions only those special menu items and triple the tortillas becuase 3 is bever going to be enough i quarter mine and use them as my utensils like most natives do in mexico when all the price changes happened I couldn't afford to it anymore I'm not saying lower the prices at all I'm saying is to stick with what you got and up portiob sizes on certain menu items going back to 10 dollars for an order of tacos instead of 13 for 4 now Chicken and rice qnd cheese.... acp should never be 14 dollars the cheapest type of protein is chicken 99 cents a lb and 50 lbs of long grain white rice isnt more then 35 dollars meaning your making your food cost back in 5 orders of acp if 10lb of chicken is what im going based on

Everything about this place was amazing! Great local spot with spot on authentic Mexican food. If you’re used to TexMex, this will be very new, but there’s still a ton of favorites. I saw that they take good care over each order in just my time there, make great fresh agua frescas, and have delicious desserts. The waiter and kitchen staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. La Perla can expect that I will frequently visit.

They should be improvised a bit more kind of fast food and don't let have customers wait for their food for certain time even longer on what they said but overall thw food is good

I knew it wasn't going to taste completely Mexican but the tejuino tasted like a tamale, they were slow with the service and we were the only ones in the place, it was the first time I visited it based on a recommendation but in my opinion they need faster service

Parking: Parking is good, it's free and it's right next to the store.

Kid-friendliness: There is a variety of food, sweets and desserts

Very good! Have to say I was very impressed with how everything tasted. I get food from here once if not twice a week. Definitely recommend!!!

La Perla is a shining beacon of authenticity in the community. If you want genuine Mexican and Tapatío (Guadalajaran) cuisine, La Perla is where you want to go.

The food is typically out within 15 minutes and never cold. There is a good range of entrees and a great $11 special (get the mini-burritos with Valentina or Tapatío sauce). There are several options in drinks, chips, snacks, and sweets alongside the main dishes. Most dishes are about $12 as an order, coming with toppings, rice, and beans. I would recommend specifying if you want the order or just the plate itself.

The environment is very simple, but pretty. A speaker plays some great Mexican classics from the past few decades. The restaurant stays pretty clean as the day progresses and a deep clean was done at the end of the night. The staff are wonderfully kind and do their best to accommodate for kids, and there are high chairs. The tables and ramp to enter La Perla are wheelchair-accessible, but the door may necessitate some help, of which the friendly staff would give.

Call-ins are also welcome, but the phone is answered in Spanish, so just start speaking in English and they will go from there.

Lastly, there are some beautiful artisan crafts and jewelry from family and the community for sale. I got a wooden rosary from there and have worn it since.

La Perla is still one of my favorite places to visit and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in the area. If you don’t know what to get or are new to the food, get the special and try a few new things, because the tacos aren’t the same!!

Parking: Parking is in front and along the side of the store.

Kid-friendliness: Staff and food are kid-friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible seating and ramp, but entrance is narrow. Staff can assist.
