The service was great, the takeout guys were really nice and helpful. The flounder meal was a little bit bland. I think the fish could use some seasoning and probably less vinegar in the coleslaw but overall I would try again.

Food is good but very small portions for the money especially if you order the broiled catfish. I was only brought 2 small pieces about the size of a hand. A small hand at that. And I small cup of coleslaw that was sour to the taste..
Tea was really sweet..and the hushpuppies where cold. Many many tables where empty. Wonder why.
Dont waste yout time money.
Go somewhere else I sure will.

Scallops were out of this world!!!! Huge and cooked to perfection!!!!! Fried oysters were great as well. Generous servings at a reasonable price. 👍🦪🦞

I liked that any dish could be order with medium nor large quantity. Food was good. Waitress was new and clueless. She had to check what lettuce was used in the salad, returned saying it was iceberg, which I prefer. There might have bern iceberg in the salad, but it was just designer greens. Handicapped parking is quite some distance from the lobby, so if mobility is an issue you might look closely before committing.

Wish I'd thought of taking out my phone to take a picture and post. Ordered the broiled oyster platter and for the price I paid it wasn't worth HALF that much! ONLY thing on the plate was 6 small broiled oysters. Ordered onion rings for a side and they were mixed with hush puppies. I travel a lot across the VA/NC state line and I know now next time I have a taste for Mayflower, I'll go to the one in Reidsville NC or Burlington NC.

Food was okay. Big portions which is great. I ordered fried tilapia but it was lacking seasoning. However, the hushpuppies were amazingly delicious!!! Our server was very nice and attentive!

If you want some tasty somewhat home style seafood that's plentiful and greasy delicious 😋 this is the place. I prefer MF over Captain Cooks. Food just has better flavor.

This is one of the Best Mayflowers I have been to. Very friendly young lady who set me down with little to no wait time Maria took my order she was very knowledgeable of the menu items & was Friendly and bright young lady. When the order came the food was hot and she also had extra plates for the food overflow. Just an awesome experience.
