Absolutely TINY portions (will attach photo in comments) Overpriced, for overcooked food. Ordered a BLT, bacon was burnt and bread over toasted, like a crouton sandwich šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Chicken strips were so disappointing, small. Maybe an oz each, not including the heavily coated batter to make up for lack of protein. $10 too much for what you’re given. Fries EXTREMELY over salted. Our server checked on us once. Yikes. 3/10, will not be returning. Seems like a money grab!

this place is absolutely atrocious. they treat employees terribly. they leave good out overnight and serve it. The owner has a drug problem. this is just an example of a child using daddies money to play business man. you will probably get sick eating here

I highly recommend reserving the event space here for any work events, birthday parties etc. They go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect! Also there is no fee for the room (unlike many other local spots) there is just a minimum food purchase amount which is very easy to meet with a party of 10+

Ok, I have visited 4 times before leaving a review. Twice during the day before 2pm and twice after 6. In my opinion, the service and food that you receive during different times is like night and day.

In the day time for both visits, we sat at the bar and Nikki was our server. She was great and can make a nice Old fashioned. We tried the salmon BLT, egg rolls, fish & chips, and had a few drinks. Second time we had the egg rolls again, along with the fried green tomatoes and nachos. Overall the food was good.

Now for the evening time, we tried shrimp and grits and it was watery, the sauce was bland and the grits had a weird texture. The egg rolls were not as good as the first two visits and the tavern burger was just ok. The drinks were watered down and did not taste good. We tried again thinking it was an off night and ordered to go and the food just sucked. The server was ok but not as friendly and attentive.

This is my reason for 3 stars. The day time and night staff and experience should be aligned and consistent. We wanted to come after 5 to try the other food options like the salmon, steak etc but will not return in the evening time. I hope this can be improved.

the kicken got roaches, the head chef can't cook nor run a kitchen and the owner down right can't manage the place. couldn't tell me to my face I'm fired or why.. and still haven't. and don't call them false clams when I got videos. you can reply to my review but not text ir call or have the ball the talk to me in person. joke of a employer

Great spot to grab a beer and burger. It was better than I expected and will be on my return list if I come through the area in the future.

We came on oyster night. Dinner and the fry, baked potato and salad bar were amazing! Great service and delicious food!

We wanted to like this place. It looks nice with a good menu. However, my drink was flat- a problem they knew about but still served us. Our glass had lipstick on it. Sweet tea was good. We ordered the BBQ Macaroni and the blackened salmon. The macaroni noodles were ok- the BBQ was a similar consistency to Cookouts. Nothing special. The salmon was served undercooked and my spinach wasn’t even warm. When the salmon was brought to the attention of the manager we were told ā€œthat is how it is served. It isn’t like chicken.ā€ The dish not being fully cooked was not listed or told to us. The manager was nice enough to comp our meal, so at least there’s that.

Poor service, I showed up after a long drive. They took care of other customers before me even though I was there before them. I ordered shrimp pasta and they forgot the extra shrimp than took 45 mins to bring it out by than my plate was cold. They brought it out and my extra shrimp was cold instead of remaking the plate. Terrible place to eat especially if ur of color. They treated the cops that came behind me better ?

Had a great experience at Old 97. Service was very good, friendly and prompt. Food was amazing, probably the best medium rare on a steak I've had in YEARS. VERY tender and well seasoned, the quality of the beef was EXCELLENT. No notes.

I would not eat here. The chef is lazy egotistical and nasty. In working there for over 4 months I have never once seen him sanitize nor wash his hands. I have personally witnessed food dropped on the floor than tossed into the fryer again and served. Foods like shrimp cocktail sit for upwards of for days before being served. Employees especially the good ones are expendable. 100% do not eat here.

Fish was cold inside & chips were greasy & room temperature. Refire came out & fish was greasy & had no flavor & the chips were too salty to eat. Service was great though.
